Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

if thats the case, choose your own fantasy. we all need a break. Ascention was never meant to be easy.

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 12/07/2025

@badhorse.com been out of touch, no new posts? hope its because you are on vacation. somewhere without bloodsucking bugs. lol

140

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 05/07/2025

it was a good view, as usual.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

Is it just me or does something really big feel like its about to break? maybe the solar flash really is that immanent.

030

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

not your usual view. where is this? our sky last night was a small cell of mammatus clouds over the house. my brother the former meteorologist in CA was pretty excited to see the pictures... lol

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

safety is his middle name.

111

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

And this is how a generation of people are radicalized against the government to the point of becoming terrorists. ones that do not exist now. hope I am wrong about this. but history is pretty clear and we don't have to look too far back to see what tyranny produces.

1121

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 01/07/2025

lol. enjoy what little you have. i read on my laptop, so its right there on another tab if i so choose. that would be me enjoying the virtually unlimited power of the internet to give me instant gratification.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

right? because googling a word you can copy/paste into an online dictionary without even knowing how to spell it is far too much work do to for your own benefit

100

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

a word with so many options and possibilities!

000

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

Note to self. one syllable words are now "big" words. <chuckles> has no qualms about using words with as many syllables as possible going forward.....

020

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 30/06/2025

then back away from the laptop as quietly and quickly as possible. you do not want to be located near that thing when it goes sideways! good morning! lol

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 27/06/2025

went from over 100'F to about 60'F in 2 days. lol. too bad summer will come back. were promised storms. that was a nope. last night the clouds looked like rain should've come. nope. feast or famine. you and yours have a great weekend Euan.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 27/06/2025

lets hope the world is finally waking up and realizing that taking care of each other rather than making toys to obliterate each other with is so much more worthwhile. eat the rich. redistribute wealth. take care of all of us. why is this such a hard concept for so many?

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 27/06/2025

they look like little Qtips. i was very far out on a very quiet beach that was not flagged for the weeblies being there. and the chicks were literally running over the towel i was sitting on. mom didn't seem to mind me there since i was just holding very still and being quiet. Love this video

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

was a scorcher here yesterday, and summer apparently IS a thing this year. it cannot end soon enough. Have a great day Euan

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

that was a fun little flick. did it do much for tourism? lol

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

right? let them call the cops to try to sort that bit of hilarity.

020

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 22/06/2025

how fun if antifa went out cosplaying like ICE thugs except they went after and rounded up ICE thugs? claiming to be ICE. like street theater with an actual humorous and delightful twist.

slightly different angle on a perfect view! a bright and blessed (if belated) Summer Solstice! the fireflies were celebrating here last night. but so were the mosquitos so i didn't stop to say hello to them for too long.

000

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 20/06/2025

it is new every day. its good to remember that!

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

looks like captain bonespurs couldn't find his eyebrow and was poking himself in the eye.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

will have that little stripe of green blasting up in no time. still a great view, except in fog. and then its foggy. have a great day.

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

just like us here in good old USA, we have to do it ourselves.

000

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

aren't there laws about being seatbelted in a moving vehicle? I count a few fines there....

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

When i said it was called the No Kings protest, one friend of mine in Perth said "don't know what you have against kings". well. The orange wannabe thinks it gives him absolute power. Otherwise they seem to range from being expensive props to effective ambassadors. The original nepo's.

000

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

There were plenty of young folks in this crowd. it was very mixed generationally speaking. But Boston had a nice mixed crowd from what I was seeing too. Lots of the Boston folks were probably out of state, but that turn out from both events was brilliant.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

i agree about the Stooges but they are my hubbys favs. I was more Laurel and Hardy, then Abbott and Costello. George Burns and Gracie Allen were before my time. Some of the replays of the old radio programs like Fibber McGee and Molly were fun too.

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

definitely hotter. but to me anything over 70F (21C) is too hot

020

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

I agree and also disagree with you. sometimes its about where you position yourself. Situational awareness is important for everyone. If there are speakers, in a registered event, that area is safer than unregulated street action. There will usually be safe "outs" and don't stay long.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

The heat index warnings are saying we might have summer from June 23 to 26. That does not mean seeing the sun. it just means being too damned hot and still overcast. lol

110

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

agreed. and now the cracks are showing. Rockland Co. NY voted 100% for Trump? The court is not buying it. Recount ordered. This is a can of worms that won't be closed again. 1/3 voted Trump. 1/3 voted Harris, 1/3 didn't bother to vote. These chickens are coming home to roost for sure.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 16/06/2025

considering its all retaliation from the last time around, it can only get worse, until the orange menace is hauled away, either in cuffs or in a body bag. its coming. hang in there.

010

Holly @flidhais.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

MA has a slight risk of summer between june 23 and 26 according to the heat risk map. but thats a pretty long term forecast. i remain suspicious.

Did you know that the dandelion seed decides for itself where it lands? Rising air also carries water molecules, from evaporation, upwards. If there is enough moisture, the seed closes its umbrella and falls to the ground; if not, the umbrella remains open and the seed flies on💚

i am sure that there were multiple states represented in Boston. but at worcester it was on the very accessible common with lots of patio seating areas. all generations were there. speakers on the steps where the declaration was read to the public in 1776

just looking at a heat forecast map. it looks like Massachusetts has a slight risk of summer from June 23 to 26.

Cuteness ALERT. This is another one of the Long-eared Owl chicks from La Mata. Watch until the end - the angles it gets it head into are amazing. A real privilege to watch. #birds #owls #birdphotography #canon #alicante

there are 7,205,770 people residing in MA. approximately 1 million turned out in Boston. Thousands of others across the rest of the state. that means about 1 in 6 people turned out today. thats sort of amazing.

i tried to take limited pics from behind the crowd, but someone would always step through. there were drones and no one had their faces covered. photographers and cell phones all over. no one was afraid of being seen.
