I've just been doing edits on a very tricky psychological thriller. It was like filleting a pike with mittens on. I've now returned to the snowy Christmas mystery I'm writing for next year, and it's like sinking into a warm bathp. I love all my characters so much. Even the murderous ones.

Long absence, as I'm on Threads and doing both is a full time job. Right now, I'm writing next year's Christmas crime (this year's out in Oct) and doing edits on next summer's dark gothic-y thriller, moving house in spring, considering a third dog, and losing weight. Bit stressed. How are you all?
