Jayce and Viktor are lay down on a sunny meadow field, kissing. Viktor is on top, caging Jayce in while Jayce hold him close. Next to them lay Viktor's staff and a spilled-over basket of ripped fruit, one already bitten rolling off, rolling away from the rest.

Page 1 of the comic. Old mage Viktor held a bright orange fruit, offering them to Jayce. Jayce grab Viktor’s wrist, bringing the hand up towards his mouth and took a bite out of the fruit, still in Viktor’s hand. The juice dripping down to his chin.

Page 2 of the comic. Jayce lick off the overflowing juice in Viktor’s hand. Viktor let the bite-off fruit fall from his hand and grab Jayce’s chin before pulling him into a passionate kiss.

viktor is looking over some blueprints, shirtless, with jayce at his side wearing his blacksmithing apron. they're both sweaty from the forge. jayce is staring at viktor, not looking at the paperwork at all.

Viktor: Jayce, I need your opinion. This diameter should work in theory, but in practice I keep having to increase it by a few centimetres.
Jayce: Hm... That is odd, yeah.

jayce reaches into his pocket, looking for something.

Jayce: Have you - hold on one second - have you thought about changing the metal? Maybe you're having a density issue.
Viktor: I mean, I could... I tried to account for that already, though. And then we might have an issue of uneven heating. Do we have anything with a similar melting point?
Jayce: I think we do... Or I could work on mixing an alloy. (Oh, there it is!)

viktor keeps talking, crossing his arms. jayce is holding two hair sticks between his teeth and is gathering viktor's hair into a loose bun.

Viktor: Ah, but then we have a problem with the conductivity!
Jayce (muffled): D'we?
V: Probably, considering I ran the numbers for this and not anything else.
J: You can j'st run them ag'n.
V: Ugh, but I don't want to - what are you doing?

jayce admires his handiwork (and his husband). viktor is unconcerned with his hair and has no idea what that was about.

J: Nothing.
V: ?
J: What do you think about using brass, love?

The tropical storm returns at night. panel 2, viktor looks on to the horizon with a concerned face, taking shelter inside a cave. His hair is wet and frazzled, reflections of the rain outside show in his expression. In the background, jayce is sitting by a small bonfire, warming his fluffy coat so its not humid. Panel 3; viktor turns around from the wet mouth of the cave and asks: “Are you positive there is a town out there?” the wind is strong. he holds his hair back as it blows.
