I was excited for the direction they were talking about when it was first announced; you can play it either as a visually and QoL updated version or a gameplay remade version But until the game is actually released, then I'm just going to treat KOTOR as if it is never coming out..

Yeah, I definitely understand why it is not for everyone. I guess it comes down to that I love the book 'Lukas the Trickster' with all the Dark Eldar scheming and plotting, so maybe that just drowned our the tediousness of the lose-all-your-gear trope

Depsite it being a very worn out trope; I kinda liked that section. I think they could have done a bit more of showing how bussiness is done in the Dark City, forcing you to plot and scheme way more than what was the case
