FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 1hNot a time to worry. The boys are just getting their legs. Big couple coming up. #Habs 030
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 1hMaybe, but it's the defense. D need more time to get into a groove. #Habs 120
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 1hI know it's hard to play like that for 60 mins but we desperately needed to instill the heavy forecheck like in the 1st. #Habs 1100
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 1hA rough game. The limited pre-season is rearing its ugly head. #Habs 140
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Easy for us #Habs fans. All the boys are signed long term for under market value. (only a few clauses in the group) Try being a Jets, CBJ, Sens or Wings fans right now. We all would have a very different outlook. 000
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 06/10/2026In the court of public opinion, Hainsey and the PA are gonna get raked over the coals. All these players with term, NMC's and NTC's asking for trades to 3+ teams on their lists are just a bad look for the PA. They'd have been better to say nothing . There are still 4yrs left on the CBA. 220
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026I know that media have to find something to bitch about, but seriously. The #Habs have played 2 games and got 3 out of a possible 4 pts. Imperfect roster. Holes in the lineup. Yada yada yada. Relax! 1160
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026RCMP should round them up and charge them with espionage. 000
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 04/10/2026There were a few times where there was an opportunity to even up the calls and take both. But no. 010
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 04/10/2026My only complaint is that there could have been a few opportunities to even the penalties on both sides. #Habs This is a different game if the game was called evenly. 170
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Own is a bit generous. But there was a 5-6 min segment that the #Habs looked sloppy. 060
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Slaf has to go back with Suzi and Cole. #Habs 080
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Lateral move. The Wings will want Lundell ++ 020
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Small markets / Canadian markets already have some disadvantages, a rule like this would give them some protection. 020
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I Know it'll probably never happen, but when a player requests a trade, all clauses are suspended until traded to the new team. But the clauses get re-instituted with the new team. 130
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026In this scenario, NMC's or NTC's are meant to stop Management from moving players without consent or to desirable locations. Which I think is completely legitimate. However, I don't think they were designed to hold teams hostage with trade requests with limited to no options. Imo. 120
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 01/10/2026After he loses in the election, I hope he gets the chair for all the offenses against children. You know who I'm talking about. 010

FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Oh Tavares. Go home and put on your Leafs onesie. #Habs 1211
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I'm not there yet. He still has speed. The other skills you never lose. 100
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I'd say that we can't afford to have the top line wait for him to acclimate. #Habs 230
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Kreider is a great addition to this team, what with his net front presence. But he's having trouble with the chemistry on the top line. #Habs 461
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Auston Stutzle went down a little easy there. #Habs 090
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Is it fair to say that neither the Leafs or the CBJ's won that trade? But both ended up satisfied. 240
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Got tix for Laval at the new Hammers in Hamilton for my birthday. Get to see the baby #Habs close to home. 180
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026I'm not surprised Reinbacher is cut. He'll play top minutes and in all situations this year in Laval. So long as he stays healthy. #Habs Same reason Hage went back to Michigan. 190
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026I preferred when the D covered the post and low slot by sprawling out and shutting down the cross crease pass. 000
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026There's been some criticism of leaving the short slot wide open. 000
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I know what the numbers look like for Scheifele. But I also know his contract and age. For me, it's a hard no. #Habs I'd rather wait for a better option (similar age to the core and better contract) or wait for Hage. 3120
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Arber proved to me, not only last night but also his play in the playoffs, that his physicality, the fact he gets all his shots on target, his rocket (which I'd like to see him use more) and the threat of retribution if the opponents take liberties on star players, make him worthy of more TOI. #Habs 3140
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 20/09/2026One was a PP goal. The other if I'm not mistaken was with a tendy without his stick. 121
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 20/09/2026It's pre-season but there's a little bit of satisfaction being a team of bottom six forwards beating a team featuring their top 6 by 3 goals in their own barn. #Habs 0140
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I thought both Xhekaj brothers had fantastic games last night. #Habs 1170
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I wish it weren't true but the TSN broadcast is just as Toronto centric as Sportsnet. Pitiful! #Habs 151
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Matthews is a bitch. He and Xhekaj were both slashing and crosschecking each other. Of course the refs pulls Xhekaj out of the mix. #Habs 030
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Respectfully disagree. I don't think MSL thinks we need to play a physical brand of hockey. He has a different philosophy in how he wants to play then how Hugo do. 330
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 16/09/2026FWIW I think eventually Guhle gets moved in a package for a 2nd line player. Xhekaj will end up paired with Carrier sheltered on the 3rd pairing and Struble will be 7th D. 120
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 15/09/2026We all knew this. We're clutching pearls now, but where was the outrage when we were all fawning over him during the scoring title. I've never liked him. 110

FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I'm not worried. Arber wants to sign and HuGo know that. They're just waiting to the last minute to sign him to keep cap flexibility and roster spot flexibility. Another deal may be in the works. Unfortunately it is still possible Xhekaj gets moved as part of a package. But HuGo like him. 120
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I said Evans to be able to keep up with the straight line speed. But Phil is a great F1. 131
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I see a world where Evans plays with Kreider and Anderson on a 3rd line. A line with speed, physicality and will cycle you to a pulp. #Habs 460
FiveHoleShootr @fiveholeshootr.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Anyone freaking out about this Kreider signing needs to chill out. At the time I was furiated over his running into Price, but it's 12 years later. None of the same players arson the team. He's a former 50 goal scorer. #Habs 080
