I think PJ and others like him just run at higher rpms. And most folks can’t match that and some burn out trying. And those names you mentioned, no doubt about it!

I wonder if his teams ride the wave of emotion too much, as PJ doesn’t exactly come across as a steadying force. Seasons are long. Ebbs and floes. The emotional drain within his program seems like a real possibility, and week to week consistency just hasn’t been there.

If I had a vote, Hecklinski is who I am going with. I love upside. I still remember the Chucks even tho that is ancient history and it sounds Zabelish. But Hecklinski just had that IT to me. Been a while since I’ve felt that in an Iowa QB. Probably CJB. Then Stanzi, and Tate.

Rewatched the second TD to 81. The boundary-side DB totally bit on the reverse ghost motion to 14. He committed to a handoff that never came, which was on the opposite side of the field that he was charged with covering & CB was at LOS, inside, playing a jam. That wont go well for him in film room

Yeah, the motion on at least three plays I remember was start in offset position, motion as though they were going to be a lead back, then rest to the offset position....and just soaking in how Washington was rotating to that look...and then BAM

Iowa has been moving the offset TE all night tonight..I bet at least six or seven times. Eye in the sky gathering intel....and then they run that play leaking the offset TE out into the flat...and NOBODY was within 15 yards...that is some killer chess.

On Russian diesel sanctions exemption from today. It’s like spitting in the ocean. Less than three tenths of a percent of the globes monthly diesel consumption. It will do next to nothing, other than continue to fund Putin’s war and destruction in Ukraine. Just more funds for Putin. Despicable
