Jubilee does this adorable thing after eating where she seeks Jim or me out and thoroughly grooms our hands/arms. When she does it to Jim, she uses her top and bottom teeth to reaaaaally get into his arm hair. I guess the official term for it is "cobbing"! Melts my heart every time ❤️

my dad refused to speak to me for the rest of the evening. i apologized PROFUSELY - i felt like the biggest jerk ever! i still remember him sulking in his recliner did he ever get his apple dumplings? i can't remember. he might have died without ever eating them again. and that haunts me

the glass hit the counter and SHATTERED. the apple dumplings weren't safe to eat now i offered to buy my dad something else, but he didn't WANT something else. he wanted my mom's homemade apple dumplings. they were ruined, and she couldn't just whip up another batch that evening

i think her reasoning is she can charge more for 'fancier' looking soaps the pumpkin soaps are cute, but no one wants to pay premium prices for a product they can make at home. it's just melted soap base poured into silicone molds w/ fragrance oils

i wandered into a clothing store & imitation of life was playing. one of my favorites... shelter from the storm i managed to locate an exit eventually and sat outside in the freezing cold for a couple hours 'til the bus returned to collect us i felt victorious and defeated all at once

The battle to get food into Jubilee tonight has been especially bad and I'm on the verge of tears. She's pooping pure mucus. It's a vicious cycle. She doesn't eat because her stomach hurts, but her stomach hurts BECAUSE she doesn't eat I'm going to ask the vet if we can try antibiotics
