At today’s no kings rally, on the bridge between White River Junction VT and West Lebanon NH. Cold and windy but a couple hundred folks came out. Got lots of honks, cheers, waves, and thumbs-up, and only 2 or 3 middle fingers.

From Omnilert.com. When are we going to understand that our schools (malls, nightclubs, movie theaters, etc) are not war zones? Bringing weapons of war to them is the problem, not the solution. This is where our remaining education dollars are going?

I'm not Canadian, but I learned so much from this documentary about life in Canada that everyone told me about.

Just a quick reminder that rich powerful men abusing people with less power is a systemic problem. The individuals doing this are garbage human beings, AND ALSO they could not do these things at this rate without systems in place to protect them, their power, their money.

I really believed that the word "quack" referred to an actual doctor who did not understand or practice medicine well. My apologies to everyone who called RFKJr a quack, you were dead on.

In MS Outlook email, people can "react" with an emoji to your email. I sent an email with the information requested by a colleague and got this emoji back. This is a polite guy and there was zero emotional content to the email. So why did I think it was a middle finger emoji? 😀

Kash Patel is still in charge of the FBI, but he's gone from the ATF according to their website. He was replaced by Daniel Driscoll, who is also the current Secretary of the Army. When everyone you hire is unqualified, there's no harm in swapping their positions or giving them two jobs at a time?

Saw this headline and immediately thought "probably that group's beliefs include the Article I right to habeas corpus, the first amendment right to free speech, and the fifth amendment right to due process." However, even if the group does not believe in those rights, they still hold them.

My faith in humanity. Even I can't take it away from me, try as I might.   I know people, collectively, are terrible. Look at what we do.   But I'm still unsurprised to see people take care of each other. In the absence of contrary evidence, I assume good faith. doesn't always work out for me...

Today, Chuck Schumer was tweeting about the illegal conduct of fascists. (And apparently 'revolutionaries' according to Musk) Meanwhile, regular people were outside Schumer's office protesting. Those people were literally doing something while Schumer was talking about doing something.

If you're a medical professional and you don't understand how so many people you don't know seem to be emailing you (and know who you are), it's probably because your information was sold. I'm a librarian with no medical background but was sent this offer:
