GenAI deletes every inch of process that makes art. I have experienced utter euphoria when I surprised myself with what I came up with, have been wrecked with doubt on the quality, flip flopped on my opinion of how the project is coming out, and have had to make a million decisions

im not worried about resource allocation in the sense of remakes hurting the timeline of new things, i just wish this fascination wasnt the culture. I do agree that I think Nintendo thinks a lot more carefully in their approach though.
