frep @firepal3d.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I'm looking for an August 1990 issue of the Unix Review magazine, which contained discussion about virtual reality. Anyone know anything about this? 101
frep @firepal3d.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Okay I don't know what's happening but the Stammer repo on GitHub is getting stars as of late. I guess people are making videos with it, which is cool. Fortunately in the past week I started working on it again, it's been fun. I'm gonna try adding stereo audio next! github.com/Firepal/stam...github.comGitHub - Firepal/stammer: Recreate any audio track by rearranging the frames of another videoRecreate any audio track by rearranging the frames of another video - Firepal/stammer 110
frep @firepal3d.bsky.social · 03/09/2026working on stammer Now it will be able to first do a dry-run of the video output algorithm to produce a reliable list of required input frames useful for extracting fewer frames in disk mode, but also accurate frame prefetching in mem mode (which is also getting some love) 000

Bsky is just an AT Protocol Client, and your Bsky account is an AT Protocol account - you can use your same Bsky account thru another AT Protocol Client, no migration or loss necessary. Reposted by frepJason Scott @textfiles.com · 04/07/2026OK, let's start the search. Adrienne Shaw is on the lookout for two titles of early LGBTQ software that predate Caper in the Castro. One is called VAPOR PALACE. The other features Tom of Finland art but has no discovered name yet. The search is on - if you know more details or... have a copy? ping. 419391

frep @firepal3d.bsky.social · 13/05/2026It's really likely that the guys who made the song "Island 1" from TrackMania Wii's soundtrack are Emmanuel David & Sebastien Lipszyc. They show up elsewhere in the soundtrack without credits, and i found a song in their repertoire that sounds like it could fit right into the soundtrack 010
