I think it’s important to say that you are NEVER being an inconvenience complaining to a PR person at ANY event if someone/something is making you uncomfortable. In fact, your voice will be taken so seriously that I’d wager you’re helping someone you don’t even know in the future.

Only 1k+ layoffs to go in a 'reset' that is lasting months interspersed with the Kojima deal and pieces highlighting the CEO taking on support tickets. I would say all this does not fill one with confidence of success. But that relies on knowing the real end goal and that still seems up in the air.

Watched the OoT trailer again and I think I quite like the way it looks. Some of the more "normal" environment bits (like rocks) are too realistic compared to the more stylized areas. Maybe that's by design since it's places like the Forest Temple that look so stylized. But yeah, good stuff!

010

Josh Broadwell @fionnthebrave.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

A lot of the OoT remake models look weird, but the original version is ugly and as a general rule, I tend to avoid ugly things as often as possible. So this is a win for me

050

Josh Broadwell @fionnthebrave.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I'm no analyst but Nintendo tying nice (subjective) looking remakes of their most popular games with big media events seems like a good way to attract new audiences. If nothing else, it's at least more effort than the other big platform holders are making!

Josh Broadwell @fionnthebrave.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I'm firmly in the "I prefer it when remakes do something different" camp, but if there is a Super Metroid remake and all it does is remove those horrid grapple segments, that's enough for me
