Fascinating but frustrating to find that having broken my dominant left wrist my usually functionless right hand has no muscle memory for turning on taps, winding clocks or unscrewing the lid on the milk. My weird brain does this backwards mirror thing that I must consciously override 100x a day! 🤯

I've ravenously binged up to ½way through s5 ep3 of Slow Horses (since Monday night), knowing that s6 starts today. I've just realised the eps will be dropping weekly, so I figure it's easier to go cold turkey now with 3 eps still up my sleeve, but there will be suffering & withdrawals either way 😵‍💫😫

It's hard rubbish week here. Traffic in my street has increased by about 4000% but at least they're driving slowly 😏🤷 Even the feral couple from up the road were not fanging it as they usually do, but that's probably because she was driving while he rode on the roof holding a table steady 😏

My neighbour drove me to the GP yesterday and walked in with me to make sure I didn't fall over. We could see our reflection in the glass doors from about 20 feet away and by the time we got inside we were crying and snorting with laughter at the sight of our matching rolling lurching gaits. 1/2

Daughter has just sent me this photo of my grand-cat Bertie looking somewhat unimpressed with his new crocheted Pavlova hat. He's very good about being dressed up in costumes but he seems to assume it's another type of harness and therefore expects to be taken for a stroll in the garden 😏❤️😉

My cook top & instantaneous hot water run on bottled gas. And a cute "log fire" only ever used for visitors. The gas could easily run out in summer boiling an egg or something, but somehow it's ALWAYS in the middle of washing my hair in bloody winter so I have to run out &switch tanks dripping wet 😭

I can't begrudge someone else the chance to own a home, but geez I'm not hopeful as they've chosen a one size fits all commercial builder 😔
