Started playing Orbitals today What a quaint little game, love its vibes so far

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Started replaying Pokémon Emerald again today for no reason other than because I want to and we all gotta play our hood classics again every once in a while

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Well this was... definitely something This series still has a lot of things I love about FMA, its feeling of adventure, how Ed and Al both grow throughout their journey, and the main cast in general is still pretty good But its original elements are a bit hit or miss for me

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

This is a PSA, do NOT play Pokémon Pinball, worst decision of my life

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Really fun movie, it's pretty much what you see is what you get, but it's funny, has a great message, the heartwarming moments really hit home and I really like how this movie uses the "cartoons in the real world" setting Really glad we got to see it in the end

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Getting close to the end of FMA 2003 and so far it's kinda hard to really say what my overall thoughts on it are, I really gotta see how things end up coming together before I hand full judgment I will say though, as far as adaptations go, it's not touching the manga or Brotherhood

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

This is a solid Mario Kart entry and I enjoyed my time with it but there are definitely others I prefer I can see what they were going for and why some people do enjoy this new twist on the formula so much but it's just not for me

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Nothing beats stories about the bond between parent and child, hell yeah

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

So it turns out the Tag Force remake is using GenAI..... dammit.

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

So the Direct was kinda.... meh There was cool stuff to be sure, like Kirby and Metroid obviously, and I'm actually really hyped for Tag Force GX because I loooove Yu-Gi-Oh GX But this is the first direct in a while where I REALLY felt the amount of ports in the showcase

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Oh yeah another thing about the OoT remake, of all the things they decided to "BotW-ify" for this They chose the item selection UI WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

So the Ocarina of Time remake... is exactly what I thought it would be A prettier, more "modern" looking game with no changes to the core game whatsoever Why do we need this when the 3DS version already exists?

Oh yeah I already posted about this on Youtube (along with some other updates that I didn't remember to share here) but I'm currently at Tampere for Tracon I predict I'm going to lose a lot of money on all the different purchases here lol

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Aside from FF7 Revelation release date, the State of Play was uhhhh not very good! I guess there were a few cool things and of course this is where they finally show R&C getting ported to PS5 but yeah I don't care fuck Sony

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Alright I think I've delayed this long enough It's time

I would 100% support a law that says if any digital platform removes your access to media you paid for then they are required to refund you the entirety of the original purchase price. That would solve this whole thing in a hurry.

We don't own the digital games we buy? Hmmm, in that case sounds like Sony should provide us with a way to buy copies of games that aren't digital. Like a, I don't know, physical game? Is that a thing?

So one of my external hard drives has most likely failed again...... Literally was working just fine yesterday but now I can't access any of the files on the drive anymore Looks like I'm shelling out another 1000€+ for data recovery that probably won't even be able to restore most of the data...

Been in a Kingdom Hearts kinda mood lately so I started play Chain of Memories GBA today to start making my way through the games again (skipping KH1 because I already replayed it not too long ago) and I'll maybe also actually play the DS games this time

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Forgot to post this yesterday but Got a new toy 🤓

Really cool movie, love the way it tells its story by basically building more stuff for the present by exploring the past of the two main leads Some plot threads are a little confusing and/or hard to keep track of but it all comes together in a really satisfying way that I can't help but love it

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

If we're talking overall, I don't really have a definitive favorite But I'll throw in my favorite Turtles design, the 2012 show! I really like how they're sort of an evolution of the 2003 turtles but with even more personal difference in their facial details that makes them stand out

Finally started playing Halo for the first time today Sucks that the co-op campaign seemingly allows you to save only between missions but what can you do

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Man this already had some pretty noticeable drops in quality, I don't know if I'm strong enough for Season 5 (I'll probably do it anyways to get closure since I never finished it)

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Great movie, think it's about the same level for me as No Way Home I admit I have some problems with the pacing and the roles of certain characters (plus a few things I can't quite put my finger on) but I love the core of this movie and the conflict between Peter and the main antagonist

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Seated for Schpida-man The trailers and the way No Way Home ended have me really interested in this movie so I hope they stick the landing here This is also the first MCU movie I'm watching since GotG Vol. 3 lmao

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Yeah this one's still a certified classic Some parts were admittedly a little more frustrating in this version due to not playing on og hardware and I think I made the some of the finale stuff more annoying than it needed to be for myself but overall this is one timeless adventure

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Continuing the journey once more

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

I love soul'd fifth gen license games so much man they quite literally don't make em like this anymore

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

I'm a lot more interested in Fortune's Weave after that Direct and wouldn't mind playing it at launch but unfortunately 70 bucks

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Started watching the next season of The Batman on my rewatch and Robin's introduction to this series kinda really sucks They cram everything surrounding Graysons' death and the birth of Robin into one episode and the pacing is like hell because of that

JJFinn @finnishj.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

A really good movie, love the theme of fatherhood and the way it's explored through the main characters, and in general I just really love the whole plot from beginning to end Some scenes could maybe go a little harder(?) but overall, solid as hell, could see it getting better for me over time

This game is so fucking good y'all I can't guarantee it's for everyone, and the story is pretty simple and a bit underbaked in places But if you're, for example, a Trails fan who isn't bona fide Cold Steel hater, I think you'll enjoy this one
