In a contemplative moment, I had this thought. It's been said that cooking is chemistry for hungry people. I wondered -- is fiction writing "concept chemistry" for people hungry for experiences? It seems to me that an author mixes ideas in various proportions to produce "food for the mind". :)

🪐📚💙 Started my 2026 (on the 1st!) reading with "The Devils" by Joe Abercrombie. I'm only halfway through the book but I'm having a blast. My favorite parts of the book so far is the character dialogue -- I've genuinely been laughing out loud at the interplay between the characters. :)
