Had in-home nursing care visit today. The reality of hospice is setting in and having to let go of a lot of things (doctors, meds, being able to go out with friends) and being marked as "homebound" is... sobering. I can see the sadness on dad's face sometimes. Breaks my heart.

imo it's hard not to be a little bitter when something you did years ago gets noticed in a rather notable way by a lot of people. Part of me is grateful, absolutely. But another part of me can't shake a bitterness, esp. if it's something I did that made people think of me as weird or w/e.
