This long time volunteer at Wupatki believes that what appears to be a ball court is actually a cistern based on water flow and check dams, and the fact that Hopi elders told him how ball courts aren’t part of their resulting culture.

My kids gave me a #Celestron Explorer DX130 to cure pandemic boredom, and I continue to be thrilled with the discoveries available with the #StarSense technology. It’s only a 5 inch mirror but it catches a lot of photons from many light years away. #astronomy #telescope
