My three year old daughter pulled this exact prank on me yesterday, word for word (in Dutch though, ‘cause she watches the Dutch version) and gesture for gesture, with a cheeky little smile on her face. I could not be more proud. 🥲🥹 youtube.com/shorts/OP0v9...

When you’re big, everybody thinks it’s okay to comment on it and give unsolicited “tips” on how to lose weight. Now that I’ve lost 45 kg… everybody still thinks it’s okay to comment on it, apparently. And tell me “it’s time to stop losing weight”. How about… we all mind our own fucking business?

I watched some gifs sets on Tumblr (haven’t seen the ep yet) and wrote an entire #Buddie coda fic in my head. 😅 Now if only I could find the time to actually write it down. And to watch the ep. 😂

Fin @finduilasclln.bsky.social · 09/05/2025

Me: I’m going to watch the episode without spoilers. No social media for me until I’ve watched! Also me when I can’t find the ep to watch the second I wake up: *opens Tumblr* I have no willpower.

Put aside the lies and the open defiance of the Supreme Court, as well as the cruelty, and ask yourself: who talks like this? This is the *official* account of the *White House* - is it being run by a six year old?

In other news: THESE ACTORS. THESE ACTORS. 😭 😭 😭 They’re so good! Buck’s distressed faces! Chimney’s quiet realization and still trying for humor. Ravi’s determination! RAVI!!! He truly is one of them. 😭 Bobby willing to sacrifice himself for his team. Maddie’s crumbling face. 😭 #911spoilers #911

You gotta love fandom though, right? I finished the ep, and watching Buck’s devastation at being separated from his team in need was so…*chef’s kiss* So obviously my mind went to “Could you imagine if Eddie had been trapped as well?” I open my email and what AO3 notif do I see? You guessed it. 😂

It’s 9.30 PM. I am getting into bed because I’m exhausted. My two year old daughter is reading books in her bed because she’s never tired. 😳 “Okay, but I’m going to bed, sweetheart.” “That’s okay, Mama. Good night.” 😂

@jbaert.bsky.social, how does it feel to have been right all along?

Thinking of what I could get my mom and aunt for helping me out so much with Eden after the surgery. 🤔 But once again, no inspiration. They really do deserve a thank you gift though. (But also one that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg 😭)

Currently recovering from gastric bypass surgery. My goal this year is to seriously get healthier, do more sports, set a better example for my daughter. Weighed in this morning and lost the first 10 kg, so I think I’m off to a good start. The recovery isn’t easy, but it’s going okay. 💪

Black and white fanart of the characters Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz, also known as Buddie, from the tv show 911. Buck and Eddie are standing next to each other, glancing at each other, both raising a glass of Champagne in a toast. Eddie is wearing a white dress shirt, a black tie, and a black custome jacket. Buck is wearing a white dress shirt, and his black bow tie hangs loose around his neck. Fanart is made by OP Finduilasclln.

Do you ever re-read one of your own fics (*I got a comment and from the title I couldn’t remember which fic it was so I started re-reading 😂) and are kind of surprised by how much you like it? That’s tacky to say, I know, but this fic is actually pretty GOOD. 🤣

So tomorrow’s my daughter’s birthday party for the family. And… I’m done? All the prep is done. Food, drinks, decorations, glasses, gifts, everything is done. And now I feel like I need to stress because I’m not stressed? There was no crisis. (Yet) Could it be that I was just… well organized? 😱

My baby turned 2 today. How did this happen so fast? Two years of love and hugs and laughter and poopy diapers and not enough sleep. 😂

Days we have to get up early for daycare and work: *daughter doesn’t want to get out if bed* Days we can sleep in: *shouts* “Mama, I can’t sleep anymore!” 😭 🥱 😴 She’ll be two this Sunday. So it’ll be two years of not sleeping in. 😳

I don't love it either, but I'm not sure how you tell a man that he should let his only surviving son rot in prison to respect norms, institutions, and the rule of law, when the country you devoted your life to serving just pretty comprehensively voted they don't give a shit about any of that.

I was finally able to watch the finale of GBBO. Not gonna lie, I was rooting for Dylan and I was gutted that he had such a bad week. Looking at the season as a whole, I feel like he should have won. But he did have a nightmare of a last week. That was so unfortunate. #spoilers
