Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 18/09/2026their previous game (It Takes Two) is about a married couple and is similarly cringe-worthy in its stereotypes. it's a shame, these are fun games that could be absolutely incredible with decent writing. 110
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 14/09/2026ok but who decided to create an 11-point scale that goes from 1 to 10 because I have some notes 111

Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 04/09/2026happy one year anniversary, silksong! 010
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 04/09/2026it reminds me of that scene in dead poets society where the textbook instructs students to graph greatness as a product of perfection and importance. tech bros were like awesome, got the formula, no need to watch the rest of this movie! 030
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 02/09/2026my go-to first-day-in-Japan-total-jetlag activity is to walk from Shibuya to Meiji Jingu. there’s something about the transition from urban rush to peaceful shrine gardens that resets my brain. also, if you have time for a day trip, I would go to Nikko! tokugawa’s tomb is very cool. 050

Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I think I played all of ten hours of this game but its soundtrack has been my work soundtrack for over a decade 000
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 20/08/2026shout out to hunter's march arena, EASILY the hardest part of this run. if I hadn't been stubborn about doing it early I probably would have needed one or two fewer attempts. 120
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 20/08/2026my first attempt I died to phantom, a boss I had never previously lost to. then I had a bunch of silly deaths in the early game. I was pretty sure it would be smooth sailing once I hit the citadel, though, so I opted for brute forcing act I, and from there it was pretty easy. 120

One thing I will add is that the lasting thing I gained following this project was a deep hatred for AI slop and LLMs as anyone who has heard me speak on ths subject since knows. I saw how the sausage was made and rejected it. 14697257

Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 18/06/2026any opportunity to shout about this book! simultaneously a page-turning legal thriller & one of the most interesting, thematically dense science fiction novels I’ve ever read. just sublime. 150
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 15/06/2026yeah! it's a subset of miscommunication plots imo. can be done well, but needs to be scaffolded properly. 010
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 15/06/2026I can't stand mutual pining which takes a LOT of dual POV out of the equation, but I enjoy it if there's an asymmetry. say if one character is invested right away and the other isn't, or if it's mostly one POV with a well-timed foray or two into the other. but overall I definitely prefer single POV. 110

Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 05/06/2026I'd draw a distinction between what I wish I was paid (i.e. I wish we lived in a world where mags could afford to pay, idk, at least $25/hour) and what I'm happy being paid, which depends on the publication, e.g. I don't mind volunteer/token payment gigs from non-profits that I think do good work. 010
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 10/05/2026I think for me it also counts if assigning tags is not straightforward, which is what made this one feel hard. but I am not remotely on the level of taking screenshots if I have to decide between too many scenarios I will usually try to metagame the best guess 😆 010
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 10/05/2026oof I learnt today that I am MASSIVELY out of practice, but also this one felt on the evil side of hard! 110
Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 07/05/2026let me have a go: THE LANGUAGE OF LIARS has a protagonist you will want to hold in your hand and protect from all the horrors of the world but uh-oh maybe your hand isn't big enough 3122

Filip Hajdar Drnovšek Zorko @filiphdz.bsky.social · 10/03/2026right! I always wonder how complex a civilisation could have got while leaving no trace in the fossil record. certainly a lot of technologies would probably have left a mark, but what about social organisation? is it that farfetched to imagine talking raptors? much to ponder 020
