Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 2h"Bike lanes are always empty!" Yeah, because bikes move through them quickly as opposed to getting stuck in gridlock like cars do. Well functioning infrastructure, should be empty MOST OF THE TIME. When it's not, it's a problem. 062
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 20hJust had the thought that I wish there was a Leafs game to watch tonight. Something I never ONCE thought last season. 290
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 12/10/2026Easily my favourite movie of the year and I can't possibly explain how the trailers make it look bad because it's IMPOSSIBLE to market this movie without MAJOR spoilers. Go see it. Go see it in theatres because it hits harder if you do. 092
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I passed out for a nap so hard that when I woke up I legit thought it was Monday morning. 010
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Yeah I'm all for less preseason but we're definitely seeing the effects of teams learning on the fly, especially teams with more turnover like Toronto has had. 110
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026He's either gonna get a shutout his next game or get pulled, there is no normal result for this team of chaos. 110
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026God I loved Belfour so much, I love when I goalie is a maniac. Great comparison. 220
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Like I've said from the beginning, every goalie allows lesser goals at some point. It doesn't mean they're a bad goalie, it's a position defined by large sample sizes and his have been solid. Only Leafs fans would see the numbers saying their guy has been performing well and argue against it. 100
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Record and GAA are both team stats not goalie stats, you can't use them as evidence for a single player (who has put up above average GOALTENDING numbers thus far) to be better. Again, the fanbase loves a scapegoat when the reality is Bob has been perfectly solid behind a below average defense. 100
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Yes, he's allowing 3 goals a game and the xG chart literally shows an average goalie would be allowing 4+ goals a game The solution to needing to score 4 to win isn't Bob has been bad, it's the defenders in front of him need to be better. Leafs fans love a scapegoat and it seems to be Bob this week 100
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026It's a thing if your tender has an .800. Not if they have some of the best numbers in the league but allowed a couple quick goals the fandom is overreacting to because it's a scarred fanbase. Sometimes you allow soft goals early, sometimes late. It doesn't matter when, as long as it's not a lot. 100
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026That's not a thing No hockey player has ever thought to allow an easy one because the goalie will stop it. If anything playing more reserved allows even more chances, as we saw under Berube You always play to limit high danger shots, sometimes the puck goes in anyways. That's every goaltender ever 100
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Eh, there's no goalie that saves every shot they "should" have. It's a position defined by high volume results averaged out over time. As long as he continues to have a save percentage that hovers close to .910 I dont care what path he takes to get there. 110
Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 11/10/2026A bunch of people yesterday were saying Bob is horrible though? Surely Leafs fans aren't simply reactionary to the point of being toxic? 3110

Filipe Dimas @filipedimas.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I know it's only two games in but it's VERY encouraging the Leafs haven't had any slow starts yet. Seems like that had been a problem the past decade, both games they came out strong early. 020
