@bbcnewsnight.bsky.social it pains me but I have to delete my BBC app as I refuse to pay them for news access. I guess add revenue is not enough to fund access. They will loose readers in the US which to me is a miss as US readers drive UK mindshare and shapes our understanding.

I took the opportunity to delete the @developers.google.com Google News app on my phone. It is clear that they have a deal with the MAGAT admin to push thier content and message as it is full of @foxnews.com.web.brid.gy crap and White House press releases. Do not trust them.

Wow the number of bot accounts are not just increasing but accelerating. Information ops mostly, clearly Russian origins but more. And it is so obvious that it should be systematically removed by automation. These jerks done change my mind, but they sure generations a lot of garbage headlines.

Just finished reading the MOU between his Orangeness and Iran. Yep, USA lost the war and Iran won it. Out side the “we agree to talk about removing uranium under supervision” soft commit, ever single thing shows America lost this war, as many of us expected. Spin it boys, lie to us about how we win.

Went to see HeMan movie this evening. I have to say, I enjoyed it much more than expected. I think it did what it needed to do to do. It was funny, while still being true to the original work. It was campy in all the right ways with the right humor for us 12 year olds inside.

Very proud of the people of VA today for fighting back the right way. Unlike GOPOOP, CA and VA both left it to the people to show their will. I wish there was a federal mandate that voting district changes require a public ballot and must be done 12 months prior to the next impacted election.

@mark-carney.bsky.social I wish Canada would take action on Cuba. Not I. Support of the inhuman, illegal actions by the US but to help the people of Cuba. Fill a tanker with oil and deliver it past the blockade to Cuba. The US would be humiliated, Cubans would love Canada more than they already do.

Why is the AP news so unreadable due to 100000% ad content vs article. I assume you are trying to to hit 80% ad ratio to content for some silly reason. Your garbage news these days. At this point, if I see an AP byline, I just close the page. News is dead and they killed it. @apnews.com
