Resident Evil (2026) Movie was great. Caught the vibe of the games really well even though was vastly different then anything any of the games has ever done. I dont mind them doing this kind of thing as long as they capture the feel.

Apparently all an indie game needs to do for me to buy it and hyper fixate over it is say the term 90s era survival horror.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Going to see Resident Evil in IMAX tonight. Stoked! 😁

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Gameplay was peak. Story was kinda meh but I loved it for how kinda corny it was. Everyone should give engage a chance!

010

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

24 hour beat the backlog episode would be peak.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Goddamnit im gonna need to buy this arent I? From what I saw of Pats stream it plays very similar to Ailen Isolation which is literally one of the best horror games of all time. Konami has figured out the Silent Hill formula; get other people to develop the games 😅

Holy shit. This looks amazing.

Maptroid Worlds Yeah this was a neat little game. Was over a bit too fast but was a lot of fun. Reccomend this if you like Metroidvanias at all or games like Myst.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Legit its the way to do it. Miss me with announcing games for 2029 and 2030 this year 🙄

Slay the Princess I'm not gonna see every permutation cause my god theres a lot but this wasnt what I expected this to be at all and thats a good thing. Play this if you like subversive visual novels and even saying that might be too much.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

Im just petrified of spoilers. Maybe i should just look up a plot summary of every route if im not going to play it any time soon. I got decision paralysis bounced off the game when it first came out and havent touched it again since. I only got to Chapter 9.

Conflicted on purchasing Fire Emblem this weekend. Ive been looking forward to Trails in the Sky 2nd for a while now and I dont think Id have the time right now. Plus I kinda never finished Three Houses and im terrified of spoilers.

There should be term limits for every government office.

Imagine announcing your game 3 years out. Clown shoes behavior. Also lol supporting blizzard. 🫥

If only 7 mana was a lot of mana for the deck that wants this 😅

011

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I only got the first one free through Epic so I was happy to dismiss it the second I wasnt havung fun so 😅

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Holy shit this might make me pick up Mortal Shell 2. I bounced off the original game hard.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I literally could not bring myself to replay it with how long it was. Game was great. Just not several playthroughs to see all the endings great.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Nintendo fans eating good this week.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Managed to get through the new MSQ in 14 even with my very limited time today. If this is what we can expect out of scene direction and story going into Evercold we are gonna be in for a TREAT

031

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

OOT remakes faces will take some getting used to but the game is PRETTY. Gonna wait on it personally. I dont think voice acting and better graphics alone is gonna get me to buy this game again.

030

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Change of plans tonight. To mix things up a bit we are gonna be doing a starter only challenge run in Leaf Green tonight. Planning to eventually do one of these for every Grass starter. Starting at the usual time of around 7:30 est ish. See you then. Twitch.tv/figleafplays

They act like wow and 14 players will either play both or throw away years of good faith to jump on thier bandwagon... with zero evidence.

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

If they couldnt make a fighting game work why would I have any faith in them making a game that takes more work and more money?

After Wind Waker HD being sentenced to Wii U jail I have no reason to doubt that. 😭

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

theverge.com

There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series

You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

I decided im probably not buying Wilds when it comes to Switch 2. Considering I havent even reached anywhere near endgame in Endless Ragnarok when i was super excited for that probably means I shouldn't bother for a while.
