Resident Evil (2026) Movie was great. Caught the vibe of the games really well even though was vastly different then anything any of the games has ever done. I dont mind them doing this kind of thing as long as they capture the feel.

Maptroid Worlds Yeah this was a neat little game. Was over a bit too fast but was a lot of fun. Reccomend this if you like Metroidvanias at all or games like Myst.

Ghost: 2 Big to Rig I almost didnt put this here cause i dont know if this should count since its a concert film but I went to a theater to see it so whatever. Ghost rules and I want to see them live now.

Slay the Princess I'm not gonna see every permutation cause my god theres a lot but this wasnt what I expected this to be at all and thats a good thing. Play this if you like subversive visual novels and even saying that might be too much.

Splatoon Raiders This game just rules and is a ton of fun. Takes the looter shooter format and puts splatoon over it. A match made in fun heaven. I cannot overstate how blown away I am by this game.

Resident Evil Village I gotta say, I was impressed on how close Village looks to the PS5 version docked on switch 2. For how fantastic Village is it definitely peaks way too early and Hisenbergs section draaaaaags. Gane is still fantastic though.

Tomorrow Night 7:30est. Stream return is happening with some Splatoon Raiders! See you all tomorrow! twitch.tv/figleafplays

Resident Evil 7: biohazard Definitely not quite as scary the second time around. Felt shorter but i think I just knew what I was doing a lot better this time. Great game.

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Definitely went a bit overboard on this sale 😅

020

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Deltarune Chapter 5 I literally cant say anything without giving spoilers by accident but chapter was good. Ill be waiting on baited breath for chapter 6.

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Fathers day eggs benny for me 😁

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Shadow Generations Its fine. Felt a bit short since I really didnt care to collect all of the art peices but was fun while it lasted.

010

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 11/06/2026

Deltarune Chapters 1-4 I wanted to get caught up cause I assumed we would get some news on Chapter 5 during announcements week. Deltarune so far is an elevation of the Undertale formula and I cant wait to see where the rest of the game goes. Chapter 4 boss fights were a bit fustrating.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Excited to see Square taking the gatcha games they have been killing and making them into single player RPGs. I need to get to Octopath 0 eventually and I guess we are adding this one to my wishlist as well 😅

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

Mina The Hollower What an utterly fantastic game. Tough as nails (i had to max out my stats to beat the final boss) but a very rewarding journey. Cannot wait to see if anything gets added to this game or what the devs do next.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

The Dark Pictures: Directive 8020 While not perfect by any means I somewhat enjoyed this one. While it has a lot of the same issues as the other DPA games, gameplay and better direction definitely helped. It doesn’t feel like characters lines were being stitched together line by line this time.

Trails In The Sky 1st Chapter The first game in this series ive finished! Game was great. Its systems took some getting used to but had a great time even though I felt like I had no idea what I was doing most of the time.

120

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 25/05/2026

The Mandalorian and Grogu This movie was just a ton of fun. Really felt like it could have been an arc of the show. Not really groundbreaking but its not trying to be. Movies great, go see it.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Seperate Ways Nice little snacky DLC. Worth the 10 dollars I paid for it. I would have thought it was a bit short if i paid full price for it.

010

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 05/05/2026

Had a disaster with the Switch 2 falling on the ground today but that means I got the new colored joycons!

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 01/05/2026

Resident Evil 4 Remake Yeah this one is still pretty good. Feels much shorter then the original which isnt really a bad thing. I do eventually want to do enough to play it through once with the infinite rocket launcher like i did with the og. Ill do it eventually.

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 23/04/2026

Pragmata Yeah this game was great! A touch shorter then I was expecting but dodnt overstay its welcome. Final boss was really tough but I probably could have combat that if I did more. Capcom has been killing it so far this year.

Today is a special day for me for the website. Today marks my 100th article for the website! Check it out!

Resident Evil 3 Remake Boy Re3 Remake is a game of all time. I would feel less sour towards it if i didnt love RE3 Nemesis. So much is sacrificed from the original to give Nemmy his setpeice moments and nothing is replaced. It feels like someone read a plot synopsis to Nemesis and didnt play it.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

Been mainlining Pokopia since PAX. Very excited for Pragmata to release on Friday. Hoping to at least get to the final area before Friday.

Me trying to choose what videoo games to play right now.

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

Resident Evil 2 Remake Just played Leons campaign this time on my road to play every Re game again this year. Just as fantastic as last time.

010

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

QTP with an album you’d rate a perfect 10/10 🎶

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 04/04/2026

Resident Evil 1 Remake Yeah the RE1 remake is just as fantastic as it ever was. Still sets the gold standard for remakes even over 20 years later.

Just when I think im done with new commander decks for a bit, Wizards spoils this.

Got this little retro console from my brother in law and his wife. The sd card ia already bricked but looking online that is super common. Hoping once i get home i can transfer the operating system to a new sd card and get it working again.

Very relaxing morning on our New York trip. Nice to unwind a little in the morning before the little one is awake.

030

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Fairly light steam sale for me, i blame Slay the Spire 2.

010

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me I think this game would have worked better for me if they didnt try to overcomplicate the lore for what feels like no reason. Def the best of the DPA games so far but felt a bit weird narratively. Would have liked it more if it was more Saw inspired.

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes I liked this one the most although id still suffers from the same genre problems. Its big reveal of where the threat comes from was really silly and I wish they just didnt feel like they had to reveal it.

000

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Man, this game had such cool things going on with its narrative but the ending ruined it by making everything that happened not matter. Better then Medan just cause stuff happened in it but boy is the ending abysmal.

041

Figleaf @figleafplays.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan I dont think I have any other criticisms then that I was bored straight out of my skull playing this game.
