Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts. Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Long before Cara Delevingne shot to stardom as one of the most sought after models of her generation, her great aunt, the socialite Viscountess Castlerosse, made headlines of her own. John Lavery was so impressed by her that he included her legs twice in this painting from 1938.

If guilty people don't have Due Process rights, then innocent people don't have Due Process rights, because we don't know if they're innocent or guilty until we have a trial or hearing.

Morning, Interior by Maximilien Luce 1890 Oil on Canvas (The Met) This depicts Luce’s friend and fellow painter Gustave Perrot dressing in the morning light. The little-known Perrot died young (1892), his brief career remembered in a tribute at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris.

Dolbadarn. A breathtaking location for an early 13th century castle of the Welsh princes. The round tower is fairly unusual in itself, but it also contains a very early portcullis groove and a spiral stair which changes direction between first and second floor.

You can’t say criminals don’t deserve due process when due process is the thing that decides if they're criminals. Otherwise you're just kidnapping people you don't like.
