Well, it’s slow, but adding little blues and whites this season, I guess? Trying to save the center bunny for last.

It can look really silly, but I made this plush part a year ago, but I marked every 5th row, so when I come back this year, I know where to align my plush legs and wings. I do recommend the lockable kind of markers, but you can also use paper clips if none are handy.

It’s quite an easy pattern to follow, the fiddliest part is just seaming everything together, and even that is forgiving & allows for a lot of customization. Two prior dragons, as an example. I ended up adding rows on all wing panels, because I tend to use a Medium yarn and the shape just works.

Dragon WIPs! Wings done, body’s done Legs come next! #knitting #showmeyourwips 🐉🧶

Two stuffed knitted dragons, work in progress; Left dragon is a purple variated wool yarn, with tan highlights on the wing flaps, toes, and yellow eyes. Right dragon is teal, with gold wing flaps, no eyes yet. Both dragons are laid down on a desk, wings outspread, limbs are not sewn together, just laid in place.

Two dragons, focused on the wings, are work in progress knitted plushes.
The higher set of wings are teal along the struts and gold at the flaps and top talon.
The lower set of wings have purple struts and light tan flaps.

Knitted dragon plush, work in progress, so far we have a head-neck-body and two wing frames in teal with the tips in a gold color.
There are little colorful stitch markers along the dragon’s body, showing the rows.

These are adorable!! I recently visited Hozenji Temple in Osaka Japan, and they have a curious Moss Man at the temple, I wonder if it may inspire your further mossball cat creations! I added alt-text further explaining this.

A Goshuin Stamp from the Hozenji Temple in Osaka, Japan. This Buddhist temple is famous for a statue that is covered in moss, a result of decades of temple visitors pouring water onto the statue for luck. Goshuin stamps may be received from most temples or shrines across Japan, as proof of pilgrimage and is either given as a paper copy or hand-written/stamped into a Goshuinko book. One really lovely moment in the trip was their sightseeing train ride along the Hozu River. They rode from Kameoka to Saga-Arashiyama. There was a very kind lady on the train who wanted to take their picture, of course they were pleased to say yes. www.sagano-kanko.co.jp/en/
