I worked one day at a McDonald's where none of the managers could agree on whether I had actually been hired or not. I was shown the cash register buttons for two minutes and then thrown in front of customers. After two hours they told me to leave and never reached out again. I was never paid btw

I still see a lot of confusion about what decompilation, recompilation and ports are and what level of effort is involved in each type of project. It's important that people understand the difference, as recompilation took a drastically different meaning that when it was originally introduced.
