Of these 5.3 million fibre retail subscriptions, Telekom's share was just about 28% or 1.47 million. Telekom is the place where copper goes if it wants to enjoy a long life.

Some argue that there is no risk to our digital sovereignty because "business will always prevail", this proves them wrong. Public contracts in EU *must* be delivered by companies with no risk of extrajudicial interference (US, China, etc.) FR has been pushing for this at EU level, it's high time.

I would imagine that this is related to a higher reliance on FWA solutions in rural areas than in other countries. Obviously, correlating this to public spending in connectivity would yield interesting results. I'd do it, but it's hard to access that data...

I now had time to read the link to the article you sent. The number isn't very clear, but I understand it to be that upsell via the customer service is up 40%. That's frankly not bad, but I imagine probably amounts to a couple % overall sales increase (still not bad, but not 40%...)

Also, the cost of a US produced iPhone would be such that you'd expect it to last at least 10 years. Wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing in the grand scheme of things, but entire industries would have to reinvent themselves to operate with such input costs.
