no matter how much time passes, Earth is still our only home #ArtemisII #Earth #Space

A pencil and paper sketch of the newest photos of Earth from the Artemis II crew. Above it is a cartoon-like depiction of the roof of a house with smoke coming from the chimney. Written below is the phrase “Our one and only home”, written in the ten most commonly spoken languages on Earth.

Our one and only home

我們唯一的家

हमारा एकमात्र घर

Nuestro único hogar

Notre seul foyer

موطننا الوحيد

(there may be an error here, the correct spelling should be this)
আমাদের একমাত্র বাড়ি

Nosso único lar

how was Christmas Day for you all? mine was pretty good, here’s my dinner from that day!

A photo of a dinner table with food. The table is covered with a white tablecloth and is illuminated by candlelight. Off-center of the center of the image is a plate. On the plate, there is mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing with gravy, asparagus, dark meat from a turkey with gravy on it, and white meat from a turkey with cranberry sauce on it. Next to the plate on the left is a fork, and to the right of the plate is a steak knife. Also to the left of the plate are two differently sized bowls. The larger bowl has a salad that contains lettuce, cucumbers, and red and orange bell peppers. The smaller bowl contains croutons. Visible behind the two bowls is a container of ranch dressing, a container of Himalayan pink salt, and a container of black pepper. To the right of the plate is also a glass of cranberry-cherry juice. Further ahead of the plate on the table is another plate that has asparagus and a pair of tongs, used for serving the asparagus.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone, hope you had a good Christmas Eve! c: thought id share what i had for dinner with my family ^^ these dishes are a Ukrainian tradition, always being served for Christmas Eve (although a few are missing in this case)

A photo of a bowl of кутя (kutia); it is the first of the 12 dishes that are served on Christmas Eve. Every person at the table must at least taste their serving before they are served the next dish.

A photo of a bowl of borscht; it is the second dish served on Christmas Eve. Again, everyone present is to taste their serving before the rest of the food is served.

A plate containing cooked salmon, sauerkraut and potato pierogi, cabbage rolls, and brussel sprouts. It is all plated with onion, sour cream, and gravy. (family forgot that dairy and meat based foods — sour cream and the gravy — were not to be served, lol)

spent today at the farmers market, bought a few things and ate a really tasty lunch comprised of a green onion cake, chicken shawarma, and some raspberry tiramisu. i then took a bus to the store and got some more things. had a great time today!! ^^ #saturday #photography #food #clouds #birds #sun

A crow sitting on a lattice fence painted white. It is looking away from the camera and into the distance. Ahead of it is a path next to a river surrounded by plants. There is a light post near the path in some open grass. Behind the fence you can see the concrete for a road and some metal barriers acting as bollards. Obscured by some bushes and trees are some army flags flying atop a memorial. The sky is somewhat overcast with some stratus/stratocumulus clouds. The sun shining through the clouds making them appear very bright and slightly yellow.

A photo of what I had for lunch. On the right is a chicken shawarma wrapped in a translucent wrapper with a red and white checkerboard pattern. It is accompanied by some fries that are seasoned with garlic sauce and hot sauce. On the left is a slice of raspberry tiramisu in a plastic clamshell container, there is a white plastic fork and knife on top of the container. Both items are on a dark countertop in front of a window. Outside, a table with an umbrella and two chairs are visible, a third chair is also partially visible on the far left. Behind the same white lattice fence; two parked cars are visible in a parking lot. Surrounding the parking lot are plants and some grass.

A pigeon standing over its nest underneath a concrete bridge. The nest is positioned behind a few small rocks, mimicking the stony cliffs that pigeons are accustomed to. No eggs or nest materials are visible, and the top of the concrete is slightly covered in bird excrement, which is dripping down from the ledge.
