If Scotland as a devolved nation can understand NHS staff are vital to keeping our population healthy then Westminster, with all the power of the U.K. purse, is choosing to undervalue NHS staff in favour of privatising the NHS for profit to shareholders

In the U.K. under the devolution settlement, with a fixed budget, Scotland can't outperform underlying economic conditions set in Westminster. We can't address or mitigate our issues without full powers and our own currency. We need to be making the economic decisions which benefit all of our people

One of the fastest growing economies in the world which split from the currency union with the South African Rand in the 70s. The currency introduction was a currency exchange not a redenomination and one of the inspirations for the SCG currency plan.

"Fairly simple reforms" that's all we need. Most of the changes @richardjmurphy.bsky.social suggests could have been done during the build up to the Spring Statement. But instead we have a growing chorus for a specific wealth tax something that would take years (if ever) to implement.
