Ceremonial Changing of the Flag Screws is complete. Screw holding up American flag broke Sunday so I had to take them both down. You don't fly someone else's flag when your American flag isn't displayed... not if you are a real American. But I had to have Ukraine flag up for tomorrow - Bridge Day!

If Transparency International's 2026 CPI doesn't reflect the actual levels of corruption we see right now before our very eyes, then I think it will be safe to assume that they too have been corrupted. I was shocked to see how little the 2025 CPI reflected what was going on in the U.S.

Grok is an example of an LLM being weaponized, as it was created specifically to be weaponized. Google's offerings are also terrible. It tries to "fit in" and sound human. Personally, I can't trust any "AI" that refers to itself with pronouns. It is not intelligent and shouldn't be treated as such.

I have yet to find an LLM that doesn't screw up frequently when you ask it for basic facts. As a search function, LLMs can be quite useful - but any LLM that attempts to make statements which rely on critical thinking is going to be flawed from the get-go because it is influenced by humans.
