I made a little sprite to get a better feel of spriting for a game I'm making. The pose is off, but this was made as a general reference so it should be fine ^^;

To celebrate my finishing college this year and build up my portfolio a little more, i've decided to launch a limited time #commissions event! If you want to see a character turned into something not human (or see a monstrous character made more human), now's your time! #art #monsters #monstergirl

"Sunset is often about as peaceful as things get in the kemkem formation. This diurnal predator, a Carcharodontosaurus, is mid yawn- preparing to rest in the cool underbrush. Even Apex predators must sleep." the patterns on this guy were based on a clay sculpture i made for college.

A carcharodontosaurus, a large therapod from the kemkem group, rests mid yawn under a large tree. It sits between a lush fern bed and the sand, with tall trees in the background. The sun sets.

The dinosaur has a yellow, brown, white, turquoise, and red pattern.

inspired by the work of @karasu--art.bsky.social, i took a crack at redesigning the Distortus rex from #jurassicworldrebirth! I don't dislike the canon design, but i do think it's quite safe considering what it's supposed to be. #creaturedesign #dinosaurs #horror #jurassicworld #jurassic

I've been swamped with stuff and unable to work on big pieces- but here's some #chainsawman OCs! This was mostly an exercise in character/creature design- there's little story behind them rn. But i wanted to explore part of the setting away from the main story. More info in alt text #csm

"Set in the Uk in the year 1983, Fear the Moon follows Mai Flets and her Journey after being dragged into a conspiracy involving public safety."

"A series of illegal horror stories are found by her fellow students, and hundreds of people begin waking up with the names of fears written across their skin. Devils related to each story, having grown in strength, begin attacking- taking advantage of the mass memory loss affecting even novice devil hunters to bring havoc."

Water fiend - a girl with water pouring from her eyes and mouth. She's wearing a British Navy uniform from the 60s

Cat Fiend - who has repaired and taken over the body of Sacha Alessander. She has big furry arms, 2 irises in each eye, and 7 ears on her head- each one representing a life she has left

Mai Flets - a Pakistani/English girl wearing her school uniform. She's got a large blade on her back

Normal Macflay - an evil looking guy with long hair

Flower Fiend - a beheadded corpse taken over by flowers

Declan Doss - an English boy wearing the same uniform as Mai- there's scars across his face.

The public safety leaders- a very scarred man in a suit, and a woman with a scar on her forehead

The torture fiend - a gagged and blindfolded man, bleeding from removed eyes, with bruises around his neck and nails in his forehead

Sacha Alessander - a girl with purple hair wearing the same uniform as Mai and Declan

Dementia Devil - a figure remoniscent of death from seventh seal. Its face is blank, with censored eyes. Brain matter lays pooled at its feet- greying. A brain-like Worm circles it- eating memories with one mouth and throwing them up with the other.

The moon devil - an enormous blue orb that splits in half to reveal a creepy face in the gory middle. Figures with linked arms circle its outside

The ink devil - a mess of ink with teeth and fountain pens- its main body/heart is stored in the ink pot on its back. it's got very tiny eyes and several limbs

My first thought on seeing Nareko. #touhou #gensousky #touhouproject #東方Project #東方 marked suggestive for new game spoilers

Nareko from the new touhou game throwing sand from her pocket at Reimu, with a background of bricks.
The whole piece is a reference to a gag from king of the hill.

dilophosaurus, an early Jurassic dinosaur notable for its crest.
Unlike the depiction in Jurassic park, the real creature (probably) didn't have a frill or spit venom. But that doesn't make it any less interesting :D

100 face thumbnails/concepts, all of which share the same setting! They're from the same world as the Mycologist and Runaway (number 7&8), and were a worldbuilding exercise. If any catch your interest, feel free to ask about them and i'll lore dump! Some have stories already, but most don't.

More creature designs! Info in the alt text. They're from the same forest as the Mycologist and Runaway, but most live towards the far end by the beach, so only occasionally come into contact #fantasy #specevo #speculativeevolution #fantasyart

1. Aquatherium - an Aquatic relative of elephants, using its tusks to anchor itself on the shore/riverbanks and trunk to harvest plants from the bottom of the shallow sea. It's known for its primitive tool use

2. Tyrannoelephantosaurus - a Tyrannosaur specializing in hunting Mammalian Megafauna. It lives along the beaches.

3. Broad Billed Dolphin - a large dolphin that swims the beachfront of the forest hunting fish and seabirds

4. Seatipede - an incredibly large member of Anomalocarididae.

5. Turtle Terror - a scavenging beaked ornithopod that roams the beaches, eating whatever they may throw up. It's named after the turtle eggs that it digs up and consumes during the correct season

6. Grand Flippered seal - A seal with large front flippers and a series of spots on its back. Eats rays and shellfish from the ocean floor

7. Leafy sea slug - An enormous sea slug with display organs that resemble countless leaves.

8. Speckled ferret seal - a long and flexible seal that lives almost exclusively in water. hunts seabirds, fish, other seals, and turtles

9. Spiky sea turtle - A large turtle that comes ashore every summer to lay eggs. Defensive spikes aim to prevent predation.

10. Saw Chin Shark - A large species of Carcharias shark capable of swimming up river. Its saw chin is a display organ, but is also used to stir up the silt on the bottom of its habitat to scare out hiding prey

1. Paddletail - A baryonyx like spinosaur that prowls the rivers hunting for the countless fish within. Has a tough fatty paddle on its tail to aid in swimming

2. Stoneskate - A large skate that's evolved to blend in with stony shallow rivers. Can crawl across land for a brief period to enter other bodies of water.

3. Dolphin Otter - An otter with a fluke like that of a cetacean, uses it to slap the surface of the water in threat displays and enable quicker swimming

4. Lumpy Trollfish - an unfortunately named fish with a large tumor-like display organ on its face

5. Akogare Auk - a seabird specializing in diving to eat invertibrates

6. Balloon Lizard - A tiny species of Sauropod with countless inflatable air sacs on its neck and tail. Used for mating display

7. Skimmer Bird - a pterosaur that skims bodies of water to catch tiny fish

8. A series of unnamed miscellaneous fish

9. A series of unnamed marine invertibrates. Mostly Trilobites, but also a radiodont, a sea star, urchin, ammonite, and eurypterid

"What's gotten into you- running out in the rain! I'm not letting you die out here! And i'm not turning you in... Come home. Please. You'll catch a cold." "I c-" "You can! I can't just live without you!" Those words meant more than anything to the runaway. #yuri #art #fantasy #beginnerart #gayart

The runaway sits crouched beneath a tree- with the Mycologist standing before her. In the background are countless missing posters- the looming eyes of the Ikayan nobles looking for the runaway pressuring her even in this intimate moment.

The runaway's familiar, a snail with the face of a human, slithers by her feet- joining the mycologist in pleading her to return home. To her real home.

It's raining heavily- the runaway having left in the middle of the night. Both are in their sleepwear- with the mycologist just wearing a raincoat on top.
