What if the Sinners were based on public domain film instead of books #limbuscompany

Three Limbus Company characters re-themed to be based on movies:
- Louis (Dante) has a film camera for a head and wears a black trenchcoat

FGO Fanservant Servant of Assassin: Hector (not that one) The most famous raptor most never heard of. He was a Deinonychus whose fossil skeleton inspired the author Michael Crichton, who wrote a novel about genetically revived dinosaurs, basing the raptors on him. #FGO #fategrandorder #fanservant

Hector's First Ascension. He is a generic, Jurassic Park-like raptor with sandy-brown scales, no feathers, and reptilian slit-pupil eyes.

Hector's Second Ascension. His colour scheme is now orange with brown stripes, like a tiger, referencing the "tiger" raptors from The Lost World Jurassic Park, but he also has wiry feather-quills on the back of his head, referencing the raptors from Jurassic Park 3.

Hector's Third Ascension, where he finally gains a coat of red feathers, with yellow ones adorning his wings and tail fan. His scales are still orange, but his reptilian slit-pupil is now circular, like that of a bird, and his hands are pronated rather than supinated.

Various existing Servants' opinions on Hector:
- Mash is wary of him, since she believes Deinonychus was the most dangerous dinosaur
- Da Vinci Rider is happy to meet him, but disappointed that he is devoid of feathers
- Jack the Ripper is excited over how scary and agile Hector is, as well as his sickle claws, and wants to keep him as a pet
- Paris confuses him for his older brother, also named Hector, and believes he is wearing a lizard man cosplay

Happy 10th anniversary, Monster Super League! I figured some new Astrofakes were in order, but since the game is of Korean origin, I thought I'd make a line based on a Korean mythological creature, the Bulgasari, plus some Korean movie monsters. (In order: Dark, Wood, Fire) #monstersuperleague

A family of fake Monster Super League Astromons, consisting of Bulgamigo, a small dinosaur with an axe-like beak that resembles Yongary; Bulgasaurus, a larger dinosaur with two horns on its head resembling Pulgasari; and Bulgasari, whose horns now resemble antlers, and now walks on all fours, has sharp teeth, and generally resembles a less gruesome version of Gwoemul from The Host. These are the Dark variations, which have dark-grey bodies.

Same as prior, except these are the Wood variations, who have green bodies.

Morning folks! Yesterday I went to Fan Expo, it was a blast! Here's my haul from the event (plus a trilobite fossil I forgot to include), and this opossum I saw at the train station (first time I've ever seen one irl).

Just got back from seeing The End of Oak Street, I thought it was great! For my further thoughts, see the alt text of these images (HEAVY SPOILER WARNING).

I love it when dinosaurs and prehistoric animals wreak havoc in human towns, especially if the town is transplanted into the past (see SCP-4003, one of my favourite articles and one I highly recommend if you liked this movie, the film reminded me of it), because being stranded in the past with slim chances of returning to your own time just adds to the despair.

I was legitimately worried whether the family would be able to get back to their own time, but honestly I was glad they managed to save everybody, even if it was kind of a copout - though part of me wished they'd unearth fossils of the pets, buildings and trucks left behind.

The dinos and other critters look great, although I was a little disappointed that Spino (what's a Cretaceous Egyptian dinosaur doing in Jurassic Michigan anyway?) still looks like the JP3 version, but I can overlook it. The Allo was great, so were the nondescript theropods menacing the townsfolk, and I love the idea of sauropods having shaggy feathers, even if it has no paleontological basis.

Overall? Despite some anachronisms with the animals seen and some other minor nitpicks, it's a great popcorn fun creature feature with dinosaurs in it and I found it a blast to watch. Would recommend!

Brazilian Calne Ca. She resembles Brazilian Miku, except missing the sunglasses, her shirt says "CA" on the front instead of 01 or having the Brazil flag, her lower jaw is missing and her upper jaw has several prominent sharp fangs, she has a single eye that is gold in colour, a fanged mouth on her stomach, and brown highlights in her hair; additionally, her legs are backwards, and her extremities are covered in shaggy brown hair with teal highlights, with three large sloth claws on each of them. Her right arm is much larger than the left one.

Some doodles of Brazilian Calne Ca with explanations. She has a single eye on her left, she is friends with the animals of the rainforest and sings them songs, and she has no tolerance for loggers and poachers who enter her forest, demonstrated with an oblivious Len using a chainsaw to cut a tree while Brazilian Ca looms threateningly over him.

Buddy, Audrey Jr. and Audrey Sr., three fan-made Astromons for Monster Super League. Buddy and Audrey Jr. resemble green plant bulbs where the bulb resembles jaws lined with sharp teeth, and walk around on their roots. Audrey Sr. resembles a green-skinned, green-haired plant woman in a green dress surrounded by flower petals, appearing out of the plant bulb's jaws.

Variants of the aforementioned line, with the bulb-jaws and Audrey Sr.'s dress now being red in colour.

Wriggal, Snippette and Hachishaku, three fan-made Astromons for Monster Super League. The first two resemble a young girl with a scarf flowing like smoke or a ghost's tail that obscures their mouths and a long purple coat. Snippette in specific has a large pair of scissors used as a weapon. Hachishaku then has a large sun hat that obscures her eyes, high heels, and her scarf resembles a fur scarf.

Variants of the previous line, who now have beige scarves and black coats (and a black hat, in Hachishaku's case).

Sam Neill is best known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park. Without Jurassic Park, I wouldn't have been as big of a paleonerd as I am today. Thus, I felt not drawing some manner of tribute would be criminal, in light of the news.

Some fake Astromons for Monster Super League! Orrin, Orthok and Orthacle are counterparts to Mona, Monak and Monarch, who are orthocone-themed wizards as opposed to the Mona line being ammonite-themed Amazons. #monstersuperleague #msl #art

A trio of fan-made Monster Super League Astromons. Orrin is a shy young wizard boy with blue hair, a blue robe and a conical green orthocone shell hat, Orthok is a confident teenage wizard that also has blue hair and a green orthocone hat, as well as a blue cloak and an orthocone shell wand, and finally, Orthacle is an old wizard with sky blue hair and a beard, and a long dark green robe. His orthocone hat is now longer and striped with blue and green, and his wand is now much larger, serving as a staff/walking stick. These are the Water element variations.

Same as previous, but with a green colour scheme; these are the Wood element variations.

Figured an official introduction was in order, so here's Bernadette, my British Iguanodon maid! I made her back in 2025, a pun on how some major Iguanodon fossils were found in Maidstone, England. She's a sweet dino - that is, unless you show her or her master ill intent. #oc #ocart #dinosaurs

Bernadette "Bernie" Kent, an Iguanodon maid girl with a Victorian maid outfit, short green hair in a bob cut, amber eyes, green scales on her cheeks, a scaly green tail, and sharp spikes where her thumbs should be. She is 25 years old and British.

Bernadette threateningly brandishing her thumb spike at a thug on the street. He raises his arms and sheepishly says "Easy there, love! I wasn't gonna hurt your boss, I swear!"

Bernadette's original appearance in 2025. She looked mostly the same other than being drawn more simply and having different-looking cheek scales and a different headband. She can be seen here pouring her master some tea.
