I was wanting to give the Asham Helix shoes a try but there were already two people at my club who had issues with the velcro ripping off of those shoes during play. I felt that the shoes are too expensive to have to worry about something like that happening. 020

Guards or rocks in play not needed. And we could be getting multiple ends per game like this. I'm all for trying new things, but I'm not sure this is the solution. 000

You'll also see teams with hammer giving up a single to their opponents in 6 so that they can keep hammer for 7 and 8. I'm not sure that's going to be more exciting curling. 110
