Once again, B&N Press has inexplicably taken one of my titles off sale. The apparent issue this time? I haven't approved the interior file. Except there's a little box that says I have. To fix it, just edit details and approve that change. No biggie. You don't even have to take the title off sale.

Nobu is clear of pneumonia! And his megaesophagus is improving, which is both unexpected and welcome.

A beautiful, white, eyeless akita, tucked into his nest with a neck pillow on in order to remain seated vertically for 30 minutes after eating. Thus can gravity work its magicks to transport food from face to tum.

We learned today that Nobu has megaesophagus, which makes swallowing a matter of gravity. To avoid aspiration pneumonia, he must eat while vertical and maintain that position for ~30 minutes afterward. Until I build him a Bailey chair, however, this is what meals look like. He needs to be cut off.

E'e! Originally a humanizing influence on the MC of my last book, but now the MC of my current WIP by popular request. Besides him having "Robin Hood-like charm," which is fun, it's been great calculating what could happen to a guy born into his privilege that might make him willing to take action.

My dear friend @kaydex.bsky.social drew me for my birthday! Feun looks rather confused that the full moon brought with it some new additions in the form of pangolin scales, but he'll make do. (Also, look at my muscles. Goals.) Thank you, Kay!

I just went through a similar situation with my dog, only it was uveodermatologic syndrome. In March, he was good, in mid-May, he needed his eyes removed. Now, blind and shave-faced, he's confidently making his way around the house. It's sucked, but worse for my husband and me than for him, I think.
