I love the color range- yellow to green!

Thank you! I don't have many photos but this little cutie popped out when I was redoing a garden bed.

The beak is the first thing that I noticed and second was the legs!

Sorry for such a long-winded answer! This is another shot showing its very long legs.

The photo I took was at a local zoo, part of their conservation program. They are native to sub-Saharan Africa from Sudan, Ethiopia & Kenya south to South Africa, & in The Gambia, Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire & Chad in west Africa. They are considered endangered in South Africa.

It was flying a little too close for comfort!

From Helen Bennett today's #BirdOfTheDay is #BestBeaks Celebrating any bird with a beak or bill that has striking colours, bold profiles, or an interesting shape. Alt: #YellowElements the colour yellow found on a bird. Saddle‑billed Stork #birdphotography #birds #storks

The photo shows a Saddle‑billed Stork standing near shallow water. Its head, neck, and upper chest are glossy black with an iridescent sheen, while the body and wings are bright white. The bill is long and straight, colored red with a black band across the middle and a distinctive yellow “saddle” plate at the base.

Yep, which is why I don't have a butterfly in flight either!!!

That is a great picture! I have yet to capture one in flight.

Me too! Rewilding is the best thing we can do, every little bit helps.😀

It is. They work a lot injunction with "Healthy Yards" which is trying to spread the word about planting for pollinators, reducing lawns size with plants and going chemical free.

Me too! It does help cut the cost of plant buying. I just wish I could put orders in.

Thank you. Sometimes I do get lucky😊

From Atlantic Birding today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is: #Black&White; any shot in black and white Alt. is #Vivid; any bird with bright colours Carolina Chickadee #birdphotography #chickadee #birds

The photo shows a Carolina Chickadee perched on a bare, slender tree branch. The bird is small, with a pale gray body, a black cap and throat, and bright white cheeks that stand out clearly against the darker head. The surrounding branches are thin and leafless, forming a loose tangle against a blurred gray background of an overcast day.

Thank you so much! Since it was raining, the little Hummer hung out for a bit. They are always a blast to watch.

Thank you! I received this plant from my local Native Plant Society. They offer free plants to try and get folks to plant more natives. I have quite a few from them.

Congratulations! It is always exciting to have a visitor you haven't seen in a while come back.

Thank you!!! I definitely had a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

Thank you! 😀 Apparently I can only see Warblers with "yellow" in their name, as the only other one I have seen is a Yellow-rumped Warbler.

I look at it as I am sharing moments through photos and that is how I look at everyone's photos, it is a moment in time that is unique to them.

They are such gorgeous birds I am excited to were able to get a photography.

My true nerdiness came out at that moment!

Thank you so much! The robins used to be frequent visitors, but I only see them every now and then these days.

Thank you!! I absolutely adore Mourning Doves. I think they are the most posted bird by me.

Thank you! It is one of my favorite photos of a Titmouse. I love the pose.

Thank you! It was quite a surprise when it popped up. I have other planting behind the tree, and it just mixed in with those.

From Rob Crank Photography today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is #BestOfTheMonth. While this is not my best photo of the month, it is the best moment of the month. This is the first photo of a Yellow-throated Warbler I have taken & the first time I have seen one in person. #warbler #birdphotography

The photo shows a Yellow‑throated Warbler perched on a branch among large, glossy green leaves. The bird has a bright yellow throat, bold black-and-white head stripes, and a pale underside, with patterned gray wings and back. It sits partly hidden within the broad foliage of the Magnolia tree.

Thank you! This is one of my favorite photos of a Titmouse. They usually just grab a sunflower seed and fly off, but this one stayed just long enough for a photo.

Thank you! It was an unexpected surprise.
