There's a psychologist who attempted to define the source of enjoyment. He said: "Enjoyment is part of a state called 'flow'". 'Flow' is that sweetspot between boredom and anxiety where a person's skill is perfect for the challenge. This can be translated to games, and I think it's true!

I was very unhappy with the colors for my comic, so I started playing around and came to this very interesting look that dips bright colors in a blue tone while darker areas appear purple-ish. #comicart #comics #coloring

I'm currently studying games that let players explore a narrative in non-linear ways and require them to understand the story to progress, such as Her Story or Outer Wilds. Accidentally, I've created something very similar with my GGJ 2025 game "Bursting At The Seams" even though I didn't plan to.
