I love our vet so much 😭😭😭 she did work with community cats before coming to this practice (which is where we take all of our kitties) and totally understands that hitting them with the most one-and-done care we can is the best option while also understanding how much we love them

Trying to take Izzy to the vet tomorrow is 100000% the right thing to do and I think we have a solid plan to snatch him and we chose to see the vet who took care of Ed bc she has experience with community cats But I am not emotionally ready for this at all It hasn’t even been two months

Trying to get him used to the carrier with hopes that tomorrow goes more smoothly than yesterday did - he’s been laying in there with catnip for the past 15 min and didn’t sit up until spouse got kinda close I do think we’ll inevitably have to grab him in some form or fashion but 🤞🏻

We think it’s likely just irritated and that the eye itself isn’t damaged. My allergies have been acting up so it feels likely there’s something bothering him too. He’s still acting normal, and we managed to snag an appointment at the low cost vet clinic for this morning.
