It's time to take a break from content creation and make some things for myself.

After a lot of thought and consideration, I have decided to take a hiatus. I know it seems sudden, and I'd have done a stream to share more details but I've just not had to time to do so, nor will I for a while as I am taking a trip out of town to visit family in just a few hours. So this will have to do!

I have a few reasons for this hiatus:
My creative energy is focused on music currently
I've not had any ideas for content that excites me lately
My free time is currently limited with upcoming moves, trips, shows, etc and I don't want to burn out

I fully plan to return, however I don't have a timeframe on when yet.

I have greatly appreciated your support over the last 12 years and the most recent 3 have been such a blast! From making new friends with new communities, to Gil for The Kupo, to celebrating people graduating school, becoming professional artists, bravely moving to new locations, growing communities of their own, opening up their hearts to others for the first time, discovering their identities, refusing to give up on themselves, and setting good examples of what it means to show up as our authentic selves while accepting others for theirs...I am truly proud to know such an immensely kind community of people. Thank you for being a part of my life, a part of each other's lives, and for letting me be a part of yours. You will always have a home here.

In the meantime! I encourage you all to keep connecting here. Reach out to each other. Remember that it's you that make this place what it is. Not me. Not the Keepers. It's all of you. So help one another, and don't neglect yourselves while doing so. Make sure you keep having fun and sharing what you love with each other too! Sharing hardships is important, but celebrating our wins together is just as important. They're bigger than you think, and they matter. You matter. We're all in this together.

Keep your heads up and your hearts strong, Fencers! And to my oldest friends here... We are LLG! 💪 💙

New Eidola single is insane. What the hell happened to make this go so damn HARD? Oh, they're on 3DOT and Many Hats Distribution (Periphery's label) How fitting 🤘🏼

I was gonna post about Final Fantasy but my feed is flooded (wonderfully so) with NASA Artemis II coverage and the crew's speeches. Literally nothing else feels like it matters right now 🩵

Well, I narrowed down the tracks I want to include in an EP I'm working on. Only took me 4 hours 😅

Really into my "your job is work you do, not who you are" arc. Taking an extra day or two for me this week after working through hella depression and brain fog the last two weeks. Mental health work really takes a toll sometimes.

Learning new games is fun. Sometimes you have to unlearn a lot of habits in order to do it, but it's pretty cool that humans can do that.

Everyone trying to board the UESC Marathon right now, what part of this message did you get? We all got different pieces of it.

Imagine if movies were rated the same way video games are: "Man, I knew Kpop Demon Hunters was gonna suck." "what do you mean?" "Look at their current viewer count. It's been in decline since opening week." "Wow, it must be in trouble" "Dead movie. Nobody's watching"

People out here trying to talk about Marathon being bad or dead based on Steam player count is just goofy. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's excellent enough to get my extraction-shooter-hating ass to not only play it, but count the hours until I can play it again each day. It's quality, man.

pcgamer.com

As the Marathon player count discourse reaches peak stupidity, Warframe and Overwatch devs speak up in solidarity: 'This is big unemployed, maidenless behavior'

'I tend to just laugh about SteamDB being used as a mic drop'.

This game is genuinely fun even when you die, honestly For an extraction shooter, a genre I have no experience in, I think it's a good entry point! I'm having fun anyway

Found a version of my dream guitar the other day. Finally got to play it for the first time and man...I liked it. So much lighter than the Firebird I have too! One day.... 👀

Cronos: The New Dawn is such a cool horror game. What started as something I was unsure of quickly became a horror masterpiece that takes nods from horror legends such as Dead Space, Silent Hill 2, and Resident Evil. This game is full of clever twists and fun surprises. This Easter egg was awesome!

It blows my mind that this album came out and the Coheed fan base was so divided on whether or not this was a good song. This just slaps the socks right offa my feet.

I just finished AMC's Pantheon, and oh my gosh. This is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life. I wouldn't call it a "perfect" show, but it hit me deep and left a significant impact, thereby placing itself in my "most important" media list. What a wild and satisfying ride.

I use an Axe FX II XL+ and it's been a learning process to adapt to using it. Last night I just learned about balancing your amp tones to your guitar's natural tone signature. I've never really understood how to do it before and now that I'm starting to get it...woah. It makes a massive difference.

Listen, I'd dig a Kingdom Hearts remake in the style of Crisis Core Reunion. Is it necessary? No. Would it be cool to get a modernized control scheme and such? Sure! However, I don't want it before Kingdom Hearts IV. I would feel so deflated if that's the next big announcement for the franchise 😩

I've come to make peace with having bipolar, but holy moly do I dislike how much it gets in the way of enjoying cool moments. I should be excited about getting to play out with my band but I'm overwhelmed, emotional and feeling so down on myself. It's actually bonkers how bad mixed episodes feel 😩

We never got to the Roaring Knight last night, but we sure did battle some super bosses. People came in talking about grief, losing parents, being alone, and trying to heal from trauma. The power of community is amazing when you're facing hardships. Our Twitch channel is the embodiment of this.
