We’d slept in the hall on the Saturday night under a big curtain.. Pubs were still 12 till 2 opening and not open till 7 at night… bus home to Newcastle was not till midnight on Sunday… so as you say Sunday was a challenge

In town today so we visited the ‘Keegan’ memorial 44 years ago in the crush to get into his debut I lost a casio watch and my mate lost one of his ‘pin punch’ pods Paradoxically whoever found the timepiece did better than those who found the shoe, from the loss perspective the grief was reversed.
