Happy that I just released my first #quarto extension: quarto-envelope ✉️ I Had 100+ birth announcements letters to write, so I built a Quarto/Typst extension to generate print-ready PDFs programmatically from R. I hope it will be helpful for the #rstats community ! github.com/Felixmil/qua...

As someone that use lists and follow only few people, I’m so thankful the great app nws-bot.us/bskyStarterP... made by @wandrme.paxex.aero exists. I can finally use starter packs !

I just read this great post about parallel and asynchronous programming for #shiny by @colinfay.bsky.social. I highly recommend it: rtask.thinkr.fr/parallel-and... I wish It was available two weeks ago when I had to implement something similar with no previous experience on this topic 🙈

Had some #rstats fun and learned a lot building a random image picker using #rshiny I wanted to replicate a wheel dynamic so I used an incremental invalidateLater() Also, I wanted the images to render very quickly so I used conditionalPanel() to do that on the client side. How would you do it ?

With this influx of people, I wanna encourage people to spend their time cool and funny things instead of descending into language wars
