One of my favorite bits of "rare" (i.e. not part of the 22 numbered episodes) Cartoon Planet content is the fanart segments. It really goes to show how popular the show was that so many viewers were sending in art.

In celebration of Hatsune Miku's birthday, I decided to do a quick color job of an old sketch I did of her as a Samurai Pizza Cats Animaloid (Rabbit type). I did a Miku cover of Ottodokkoi Nihonbare ages ago, but I don't think I have it anymore...

Pururun/Polly in her fuzzy idol outfit. Go give Mikazuki Connection a listen if you haven't already. Even if you've watched KNT, they only use like 3 seconds of it in the show! #SamuraiPizzaCats #キャッ党忍伝てやんでえ

Ordered Lilith and Sentinel, but I'm going to have to to start thinking about where to put more figures because my shelf is currently full. Might have to get more shelves or something.

Thanks to Toy_Detective on Instagram and SPCFrancine on Twitter for this photo of the upcoming Samurai Pizza Cats ES Gokin lineup at ACGHK. The previously-shown Big Cheese/Koon no Kami seems to be absent, no word on whether he's been cancelled or not.

Watching the Discotek stream archive to hear the details about Pizza Cats, and they manually recreated SPC in HD by taking the HD KNT footage and recreating every single frame of editing originally done by Saban and creating new HD versions of all the title screens and such. That is INSANE effort.
