In 2002, < than 100 Iberian #lynx remained. Today there are 2,663, thanks to #conservation efforts (captive breeding, more native prey, improved connectivity, partnerships with landowners). Still, 4,500-6,000 lynx are needed for a secure future.

Every week, 1–2 pumas die on CA roads. In some regions, cars may be killing them faster than the population can replace them. Wildlife crossings, slower driving at dawn & dusk, & your sightings can prevent wildlife-vehicle collisions. 💛 Support our work. Make pumas safe in CA felidaefund.org/donate
