I realized I'd never made an account on pouet.net and, in the process, discovered that avatars there are 16x16 gifs ≤4K in size, because of course they are. ;) I really had fun taking the "8-bit" PICO-8 version of my avatar that I use on the Lexaloffle BBS and JRPGifying it a bit to make a 16x16.

Wow. I was today years old when I discovered a PNG can hold a palettized image. I dunno how I managed to miss this feature. Given that all modern browsers support animated PNGs, I wonder why anyone still uses GIFs. Actually, maybe not knowing about palettized PNGs myself answers my own question. 🤔

I've read that Sanskrit is a cool language because it has so many single words for complex ideas. I wonder if they were created the same way that we create new words in English for ease of use online. Like, this is now officially part of English, apparently, and I'm all for it, because it's 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭.

Find a cardiologist and ask for a stress test. You're probably fine, but this establishes a baseline EKG that can be compared to when you go to the ER because your chest feels funny. Same for other tests, e.g. CT/MRI/blood. Scan your DNA for genetic issues you can mitigate (e.g. high cholesterol).
