Gravitate has unlocked the 2nd stretch goal, added new rewards, and was selected as one of Kickstarter's "Projects We Love"! To celebrate, I'm sharing the inspiration behind one of the bands in the books! 👇 www.kickstarter.com/projects/cou... #booksky

A black-and-white portrait drawing of a male character named Chase. Chase has short hair and is smiling. The text reads: "Courtney Grace Power's book, Gravitate, is 100% funded on Kickstarter and has hit the 2nd stretch goal! To celebrate, I'm sharing the inspiration behind one of the bands in the book. When I was 15, I created a punk band called "Triple Threat," which had a lead singer named Chase. I never wrote stories about Triple Threat, but the concept brought me a lot of joy. After Resonate (the first book) was funded, I got to submit an idea for a fictional band, so I made <redacted for spoilers> in honor of Triple Threat. Triple Threat and <redacted> are not the same of course, but I hope that when you meet them in Gravitate, you feel the same joy that 15-year-old me felt. Hint: the band in Gravitate has a water-themed name. Crash would probably be best friends with Click, by the way."

Picked up Stormblood & Blindspace by @jeremyszal.bsky.social at my local bookstore yesterday! Didn't realize they were signed until a free bookmark fell out of the front pages. It reads like a Halo/Mass Effect story (my faves!) though the food depictions remind me of Ghibli 🍜. 10/10 would recommend.
