Climbing tity mountain
A small tortoise climbing on to my chest. I am clearly contorted onto a ridiculous position to point the camera at him

He always demands my cardigan when I’m around and I’m too soft not to give it to him

Funniest bit of allyship so far is from the family dog, who seems to like me a LOT more as a woman (photo unrelated)

Just two weeks until I get to hang out with this hambugr 😊 (My parents will also be there, I guess)

This is true, it’s natural to want to be like Goliath, the BIGGEST TADPOLE IN THE WORLD, but that’s not a healthy goal!

Possibly... this from about 4 months ago/6-ish months hrt? I actually *really* hate how I look in photos vs. mirrors, so I've been tracking progress with a low-quality webcam and I'm not sure I see myself even now, just a random woman, but this was the point it started to feel doable
Me, a white woman, giving a grim expression to camera in front of a very messy room

Autumn has landed on London like a pumpkin-shaped anvil, so I dug out my favourite old cardigan and oop, whoops, uh oh!!
Hips and chest of a woman (me) wearing a grey cardigan, jeans and brown fingerless gloves. I look quite bottom heavy

This is everyone's daily reminder to read Witch Hat Atelier, where the intersection of disability, magic and the politics of the body is an important running thread that is treated with real humanity and seriousness Plus it has cool walking chairs!

Dousing for the one area in my flat with decent lighting (you may feel free to ignore the unmade bed)
Selfie of me. I am wearing a navy blue t-shirt, light blue dungarees and a red beany. I am frowning, probably because of all the junk behind me.

So one thing I've been doing to kind of short-circuit my dysmorphia is a lot of self-portraits! Forcing myself to simplify down my 'design' from tracings/photos seems to help me picture myself without makig up some warped monstrosity
Messy sketch of a faintly smiling long-haired woman in a neutral pose. She is wearing dungarees, a t-shirt and a beanie (and socks, but that's not really important unless you're some sort of CREEP)

I've been running the capeless version with the nox greaves, and I REALLY like the silhouette (kinda shitty screenshot unfortunately - too much landscape watching)

Kaijune Charged x Bionic: "So you solved the power issue?" "Yeah, we used the catfish" "The what?" "You know man, the catfish...(mumbling off-mic)" #art
Drawing. A grey robot with four glowing yellow porthole 'eyes' approaches the viewer. It is armed with a chainsaw attachment on its left arm, and is raising a gun with its right. Tied to its back is a much larger brown fish-like creature that is feeding electricity into ports on the robots head via its whiskers. The robot looks hunched over with the weight. A large stamp saying "FUNDING APPROVED" is overlayed on the image.

This chair is definitely cursed, right? Like the last guy who sat on it is currently the jester in the court of the fairy king or smth
A small, wooden chair on the edge of a wooden path. It looks clean and well-maintained, as if it was just placed there

yaaayy kaijune!! Always loved doing these on twitter (let's see how far I get) SEED: "Edenellid's soil-like flesh houses the seeds of dozens, or even hundreds, of plant species unknown to science, but no proper survey mission has yet received funding." #art #digitalart
A dinosaur-like kaiju twists to face the viewer. It has short arms and stocky digitigrade legs, and its long tail wrapped around its body. Its skin is green, and the top of its skull and spine are replaced with a flat surface of soil, out of which pink and yellow blossoming trees grow. The trees towards the end of the tail are sparser and broken, while those at the top shed petals which merge with the large word in the background "SEED"

hahah, yes, yes... more detailing, MORE I SAY
Mirror selfie of Lichens (a white trans girl with brownish hair) wearing a navy tank top, red-purple pants with too many buttons and oversized boots. Her face is crudely edited out, and she's posing as if to say "look, I still have muscles!", but reader, she doesn't.

this is what I post from btw
Black and white diagram of some sort of rectangular mollusc inside a cracked-open phone case. Its eyes replace the cameras, and the power port is either its anus or its genitals, you're not really sure

"The ant's diversity of form is often underestimated (...) specialised for tasks from ritual carving to the collection of dead after conflicts, so called 'micro-castes' play little-understood roles in colony life"
Old-looking illustration of multiple ants and associated symbiotic insects. A flying ant is overshadowed by a much larger one with feathered, angelic wings

I didn't realise how much I missed these 😭 I mainly draw various kinds of gross organisms and mock ups of weird science documents, but I'm always trying to branch out* *I lack the attention span to stick to a theme
Illustration of a smartphone that has been cracked open to reveal a strange rectangular mollusc living inside, its eyes replacing the camerasPainting of a pterosaur-shaped mech - it is mostly grey, with an orange light leaking from between its body segments and from the huge gun it has for a headA cartoon velvet worm staring directly into your soul. Why did I make this, and for what purpose? None can say, but I was really going through it, clearly.

I mean, it's doing a :3 face for crying out loud! Not exactly the face you associate with nature's deadliest legworm!Painting of a yellow figure from the shoulders up - it has no features except a subtle mouth, and its head is being drawn into a spiral by a balck hole/wormhole where its right eye should be. (This was my attempt at a Disco Elysium skill portrait pastiche for 'hyperfixation')

Are YOUR horses becoming centaurs? When exposed to the grandeur of human civilization, horses will often seek to deform themselves into these grotesque parodies of man! Remember to NEVER expose your horse to human food, art, or politics to prevent this crime against nature!
A horse whose head has twisted around and warped into a parody of a human torso, with its mouth forming the 'neck', one of its eyes gazing out from where the left nipple would be, and a single shrivelled-looking arm growing out of its shoulder/chin

So you're telling me there was a whole socioeconomic caste of dudes who spent their lives riding around dressed like medieval robots? No no, I think my explanation makes more sense.
A drawing of a knight. The details are accurate, from the number of nostrils in its eyeless head, to the patterns on its chitinous shell and the precise dimensions of its slicing and shielding claws.A most brave and true jouster. Using the three limbs sprouting from the front of his equine body he can puppet the loosely tied-together pieces of armour he's holding in a completely convincing display of human body language!

Pteromorph Mobile Thermal Artillery Another mech WIP - why did I decide to paint it? A decision lost to the sands of time
A painting of a dark grey robot shaped vaguely like a pterosaur, with a large, shield-like head housing a gun that is dripping something like molten metal. The 'wings' of the robot contain individually articulated propeller-like rings that are glowing with heat, as are the cracks in the robot's armour.

Robut
A mech shaped like a headless torso, its three legs terminating in huge stylised masks whose chins act as 'feet'. It is holding two large cleaver-like weapons and is twisting around as if to look at something, exposing seams in its 'skin'.The same mech now has a large, organic looking gun sprouting from its neck via a tangle of cables. The gun is shooting a jet of ferrofluid, kicking up dust in an arc around the robot. Diagrams to the side show how the gun emerges: a stream of tendrils shoots from the neck stump before knitting together into a pulsating blob that forms the gun body.
