When I had a pile of new APIs to ramp up on, I stopped bouncing between tools and kept everything in a .http file in VS Code with REST Client. Tokens from .env, named requests to chain calls, JSONPath filters, dynamic dates, GraphQL. No copy-paste. How I do it: www.frankysnotes.com/2026/09/how-...
