Unashamed human. Controversial belief systems: human rights and dignity, accountability in politics and media. I'm an entrepreneur: service and business consultation. I like nerdy stuff and dirty stuff, support creators of both. #wisecavehermit

Facebook won't let me verify my identity for sharing political posts as a candidate.... It keeps saying I'm unable to connect to meta servers... While giving me information from the meta servers. Starting to feel personal.

It's strange... GOP position. Before Elon: "We are up against a challenge and will probably lose the midterms." After Elon: "We're gonna win so big?" #concerning

But what it really did was strip the governor up some power, mainly in extradition to other states that are looking to press charges against doctors in California. That one's a governor didn't want to get rid of any part of his power base. --- This is a whole mixed bag of stuff

Which tells me we needed a lot to ensure that they're doing what they were supposed to be doing the whole time the right way. If you're already doing it, getting it down on paper for the right and proper process shouldn't be an issue... ---- The transgendered one was vetoed by bullshit.

Consumers from being able to actually choose what data gets shared with different places. And the law as it was written was essentially unenforceable. ---- The native American one.. He basically said they didn't need a law to tell them to do something they were already doing...

He's stated that it goes too far, cuz anybody who went in early and then got the fuck out would be barred as well. It was too broad a brush. ------- The data band one is a little complicated.. It was a categorical band that could not actually be properly enforced, and removed..

The wearables tech was vague and would allow for abusive enforcement... (And they already have a law that you can't record someone without their consent) ---- The ice agents was about them being able to get a job working for the government if they've worked for ice previously.

It's just all part of the larger isolationism. Like they're actively trying to cut off allies outside of the United States and consolidating and concentrating more and more power into the billionaires within the United States.

I get the suspicion for every seat that they will lose, those Republicans won't leave those seats because the president will tell them that it was fraudulent and they needed to stay there. And then a massive campaign against this supposed voter fraud, fabricated evidence and everything.

Let's not forget that these guys have gotten rid of the federal agencies that investigate potential fraud in elections. It seems to be an important point that we need to keep attention on coming into the midterms.

I'm still trying to figure out how. " He's not in jail right now because he won the presidency." Keeps getting turned into " He's obviously innocent and it was a sham trial." The dissonance in this is amazing to me. Nothing you can do can convince them. He's a bad guy. Keep that in mind

Let's amplify this statement by Jack Smith in his testimony under oath to the Senate: "Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in serious crimes against our nation." Despite GOP shenanigans, it's still the part we should focus on.

My dad, a staunch conservative, has gone on to say that - since history is written by the victors that rewriting and s erasing history is their prerogative. It's weird the amount of support they have for cleaning history to make themselves heroes... Almost our they know they are bad guys

See that's kind of the point. A computer can never be held accountable so a computer can never make decisions. And in that a computer can never make decisions because they can never weigh the intangible, and an individual's morality does that. Even if we teach it ethics, it can't understand.

With this being in the news, I go to my 14-year-old son with a simple question.. "If you ever find out that someone close to you has sexually assaulted, a woman or anyone, what do you do?" He responded with - "Call the authorities and beat the crap out of him till they show up." Good kid.

I recently had a little bit of a back and forth on Facebook. A gentleman didn't seem to understand compassion and when or how it should be applied. I was pretty simple about it. The person who was harmed and had no control over the situation (victim) is a good place to start. They didn't get it.

There are two countries that regularly vote against the expansion of human rights at the UN. Housing, Food, Equality(any type), etc... Anything that states all human beings have a right to their basic needs being met/addressed you're practically guaranteed that the USA and Israel voted against it.

If the referendum passes the state legislature then the current state Congress person is demoted to adjunct or some low power status and a new special election is held to replace them. Let's just make this accountability matter.

Forest @fbos.bsky.social · 25/09/2026
I think we need to add the ability to recall and bar elected officials to our system. Like If a public referendum passes in the congressperson's district the state legislator would need to hold a special vote. Even give the grace of a 65% majority...

They spent decades bombarding is with media to induce fear of our neighbors, and divide families along ideological rhetoric. So, yeah, building the momentum needed to defend each other and ourselves seems impossible. We aren't willing to get hurt to protect others.

We've been conditioned to be subservient. We don't actually fight back. That's why the BLM protesters scared them so bad. THAT community was still willing to fight. The rest of us are cowards, trained to put self interest above the well-being of the community. Making us docile and alone.

If we were a more communal society and not so obsessed with protecting our own ass more than those around us, we would have already rioted. We are upset, but not enough to risk our lives and livelihoods for other Americans. We're not rioting We're not fighting Because we are afraid

It's a municipal ROI that's hard to explain. The alternatives cost more. A small local tax can save us a lot of city money when put in the right place, currently it's costing us a lot of money to do things poorly.

Crisis starts at home and your home community is the best place to get help. We have a local jail levy going in here but what people are missing is that the jail is going to turn into a crisis center as well. People who need help and run in with the law can just go across the hall. That's good

I won't celebrate or congratulate the media for this. It's a day late and a dollar short. All media should have been doing this all along. They have the power and the responsibility to expose lies being told to the American people, no matter how trivial. Because not doing it feeds the demagogue.

They forget that the core MAGA made is both poor and cognitively challenged. Without those Republicans, not the maga(ts), he doesn't have a base. Given how much he's already fleeced out of his core base. They probably don't have enough left in the economy he created to keep grifting from.

Technically every right is a privilege granted by the governing authority. What they seem to miss is that we had a couple of these privileges protected by law from having them taken away or diminished.

And now we're in a similar financial state because it was the exact same people that did it the first time doing it again. Same companies, many of the same names, many of the same bank accounts that are going to become bloated off of the rest of our suffering. No one was held accountable

We don't even need to go that far. We need to have the type of regulations and controls that they can't just wave away as soon as they buy a presidency. Our current financial situation is because we responded to the last financial crisis by removing those options... They bought them back

People don't know how to break out their purchasing routines. People like specific meals People like specific ingredients People have become accustomed to the age of abundance disguised as false scarcity, and now that real scarcity is entering the picture, no one knows what to do.
