Currently trying how big Opus 5.5's strides towards this are, and while it can catch a lot of errors and do the annoying reprompting of the diffusion models for you, I lean strongly towards Ed's position. Getting continuity, consistency, and details right over many scenes is very far away

Ok, I finally get what Uhura was doing, she just had 120+ agent sessions running at all times with the button colors indicating the state (working, turn finished, ask_user_question, waiting for subagents), that's also why she never took off the bluetooth headset

• Neither encoding works over Bluetooth MIDI, so the app probably talks to the controller over Bluetooth some other way. I'll look in the decompiled app for how its Bluetooth path sends data:

Frontier labs should do "pacing weekends" where they turn all training and research compute over to inference, triple everyone's usage limits, and give free-tier users some Astra/Fable tokens. Seems it was a vibe-coded public app + prompt injection + an org where burning the equivalent of $600.000 in tokens is just your regular Tuesday. metr.org/blog/2026-08...

From our analysis, we suspect that the attacker found the instance by looking through recently-registered websites (e.g. in certificate transparency lists) to find vibe-coded sites with high-signal keywords relating to LLMs or agents, for purposes of harvesting potentially exposed model provider API keys.

Upon finding the deployed system, the attacker prompted an agent directly to reveal its model provider API key, added an SSH key for persistent access, and over the course of three weeks used the stolen credentials to consume a significant amount of API credits on publicly-available models. These credits would have been worth approximately $600,000, although the model developer had granted them to METR for free.
