I’m sorry. It sucks. I’ve been dealing with dysautonomia, pots, EDS, fibromyalgia, and some other pain disorder for about 18 years now (with symptoms dating back to childhood). Last year was such a doozy that I have been pretty much bedridden the past couple of months. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend.

December was a physically and emotionally exhausting month, and I’m still recovering. The crazy weather is not helping my body. There is a huge floral centerpiece in our entryway that has been there for a month now. It’s dead, it stinks, and it pretty much sums up the state of my home right now.

I am so proud of the way many Memphians have supported the immigrant community. Even Hispanic people with full citizenship are afraid to leave their houses, so the Immigrant Pantry has been delivering groceries and Christmas gifts to those in need of help. We will not let hate win.

My parents are both in their 80s and have different slow growing cancers. Why go through treatment for something that could take many years to become a threat? Dad’s mole isn’t spreading, so let it be, and chemo for an abdominal tumor would just be awful for Mom. Just enjoy the rest of your years!
