The Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering teams at Wizards of the Coast have just announced they're unionizing. In a letter of demands, the union has urged Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast leaders to stop pushing generative AI. bit.ly/4hMhPzG

The small scale of the site disguised so many of these issues. But the lack of work ethic, accountability, and downplaying any concern, no matter how civilly it was introduced, was ALWAYS present. I know I've been out of the loop for a while, but please feel free to DM if you need/want to 💛 (2/2)

I'm so happy for you and proud of you that you got out of that. I just skimmed through a reddit thread with a ton of screenshots and holy shit. I've missed SO MUCH. But I can fully say as a doe-eyed artist working there BACK IN 2014, the signs were there back then too. (1/2)

AOS spirk sketches from my time loop fic, The Sheer Force of Air. 🔗 archiveofourown.org/works/91672311 #spirk #startrek

A collection of Kirk and Spock sketches. Kirk framing Spock's face with his hands, Kirk being strangled by Spock in the "emotionally compromised" scene, and two close-up studies of each of their eyes.

actually i kinda *do* think using genAI should be such a social faux pas that the user is marked as a pariah and no longer feels welcome in the community. "AI is bad" is no longer an abstract (it never was), my city has been under a boil water advisory for a week because of AI data centers

Hi, I'm Helvetica — a mystic artist and illustrator exploring ritual, symbolism, and myth-making within a personal spiritual framework. ✍️ Sketches & Monthly Stickers patreon.com/helveticablanc 🃏 Cards, Zines, Originals & Sigils helveticablanc.bigcartel.com 🖼 Prints inprnt.com/gallery/helv...

A ring-like entity reaches down with one hand to touch a bowed, haloed figure. The scene is small, the size of a tarot card, and is rendered in graphite, brown ink, conté pencil, and bronze paint.

A cow reclines with a halo between her horns and stars decorating her flank. She carries a sculptural ring and bowl upon her back, and incense smoke rises from the bowl, leaving the frame. Texture fills each shape, and sparse linework, writing in Wormrōte, and decorative elements complete the piece.

A cartoony green goblin holding a bindle walks towards a cliff while a worm looks on. The scene mimics the Fool card from the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck.

Helvetica sits at their desk and smiles for the camera. They are a white, androgynous person wearing glasses and brown overalls, holding a brush over a work in progress. Image courtesy of Amy Melin.
