In other news I got an ARC of one of my biggest anticipated 2025 releases so don’t mind me while I read it as fast as humanly possible because it’s the only thing keeping my sanity in place this week.

It took forever but I finally got this damn top from Copied Factory so I never have to set foot in there again. #ffxiv

Nicholas Holt’s snatched waist in his brown great coat during Nosferatu had me feeling a type of way

Woke up at 6 AM on a sunday to one of the kittens smashing my vintage 1970s teapot that was accidentally left out. Sigh. Gravity experiments start early.

This year’s Goodreads Winners are so predictable it almost makes my teeth hurt. I’m so glad I’m transitioning to using Fable more.

So a few weeks ago we got a pair of kittens - sisters, grey tabbies - and both of them at this point really like me cuz I give them churu. This has progressed to one of the kittens being so obsessed with me that she is now stealing my clothing.

Learning to become a social media manager on the fly is honestly kind of daunting. I’ve been doing it for a few months now and I’m constantly learning new things as I’m doing them. I love my job (working at a bookstore) but social media managing is another beast entirely.

Althea once went on a nearly never ending time loop to try to prevent the death of Emet-Selch at the end of Shadowbringers. She ultimately failed. I decided that before Endwalker’s shenanigans so imagine my surprise 🤣

Maybe I’m just a musical theater nerd but I actually really liked Wicked. It was good!! I feel like my expectations were low but I also feel like it exceeded them spectacularly.

I told my spouse I wanted to go see Wicked and one of my reasons I gave him was “G’raha Tia is in it 🥺”

This obituary for the award-winning costume designer of Peaky Blinders, Stephanie Collie, is a wonderful tribute to her research process and skill. It’s easy to criticise costumes in TV historical dramas, but historical inaccuracies are rarely errors, they’re often storytelling choices

I work in a bookstore and I realized TODAY that adventure fiction like Indiana Jones or The Mummy is really hard to come by. I DO think interest in that genre is growing, but it’s really hard to find more than like 5 titles.

I don’t really RP in game on FFXIV but my silly little WOL OC has quite the backstory at this point and I kinda wanna share it. She’s genuinely one of my favorite characters I’ve developed, and creating her has made me a better writer.

🗡️ Character: Althea Archevauliere 🗡️ Server: Primal - Exodus 🗡️ Main: VPR / RPR / DRK & BRD (PVP) 🗡️ When did you start: 5.3 🗡️ Favourite thing to do in game: Maps, The Hunt, PVP 🗡️ Fun RP Facts: Fainted the first time she ate spicy food. Also comically bad at musical instruments. #ffxiv #elezenhours

I enjoy the antics of those magic nuns on Dune, the Betty Gesundheits or what have you. When they do the bullfrog voice and make a guy stab himself? Great stuff! Fun buncha gals. Knock ‘em dead ladies.
